At United Tractor Trailer School, we have tremendous pride in our graduates. Therefore, we offer job placement assistance. After completing our program, you will be ready to enter the workforce as a highly trained professional. As a graduate, you need employment that reflects your skills, training, and allows for professional growth and development.
To practice driving for a Class A (Tractor Trailer) Commercial Driver's License (CDL), you'll first need to obtain a Commercial Drivers Instruction Permit (CDIP). You cannot practice driving a rig with just a regular driver's license. UTTS offers a PERMIT CLASS, once every 4 weeks from 8am to 5pm. Please see the permit tab/page for future dates of this class.

Went to United for their night class starting in august of 2021. Ended course in October. They have different sessions to fit anyones lifestyle and time. Day courses, night courses, and they even offer weekend courses. They are literally always working to help you obtain your training and everything you need to prepare to receive a CDL. It took me roughly 3 months to get my license from start to finish.
Those instructors and staff members are on point. They know their stuff there and they have good amount of trucks for the student ratio. I will definitely recommend them to anyone in the Massachusetts area looking to obtain a CDL.

From start to finish, the staff at United has nothing but the best interests in helping everyone that walks in get there license. My personnel expierence was amazing they lift you up when your feeling discouraged and keep you right on track and will not let you fail. Just want to say thank you to guys in the yard for those rainy days they stood out there and pushed through, and a special thank you to the boss for helping me with all the extra time to figure out where I was going wrong with my testing and helping me get my license. Once again great place if your thinking about getting your CDL.

My time here at this school has been nothing but amazing. I got to learn from some of the best instructors who took the time to thoroughly teach me, even after the endless amount of questions I had. Coming in, I had 0 confidence in myself considering how intimidating the trucks were because of their size, but the guys here never failed to make me feel like I could conquer anything that came my way.
I went in there knowing absolutely nothing about trucks, and I left being able to identify any part of the truck, as well as maneuver it the way I need to. Great great school overall. Definitely recommend it to anyone needing their CDL.
