Superior Driving School

I had great experience with the driving school- from the Pre-Licensing Course up to the Driving Lesson. I am so glad that I enrolled here. My instructor Wendy was very professional, knowledgeable in everything when it comes to driving and she made me feel comfortable that builds up my confidence to drive and made me focus on the driving rules. I took twenty driving classes at Superior Driving School as a new driver. I took classes with Senor Adolfo and I improved a lot since my first class. I took my test today and passed. The school is also very organized and there are reminders on the DriveScout website of your scheduled lessons and text message reminders. I recommend this school!

Thank you to Superior Driving and to Adolfo, a gem of an instructor with incredible patience and kindness. I passed my driving test on the first try and couldn't be happier. My work schedule is so crazy and they were flexible in accommodating my lessons over the course of a few months. I took about 8 total all with Adolfo, who also helped my overcome my fear of driving (which is why I waited so many years to finally drive!). Thank you!

Wendy is really the best instructor. She was kind, patient and gave me the confidence I needed. I passed my road test on the first try! If you are hesitating give this school a try, everyone on the staff is A+.

I took lessons with Adolfo and it was a great experience! Very helpful and super patient. Did not have an issue with explaining something over and over again. I definitely recommend taking lessons here. Everyone is super friendly, helpful and flexible.

I took classes with Adolfo and he was the best teacher I could've asked for. He was very patient with me and made sure to throughly explain the rules of the road, gave me endless tips, and would email me material to further help me be more confident with driving. I passed my driving test on the first try because of him! Would highly recommend Superior Driving School!

Adolfo was a great instructor, really helped me understand what I'd need to focus on and improve to pass and broke things down for me. Admin team was also on point and pro-active about scheduling and communicating.

I passed my road test on my first try after 11 lessons on weekend mornings with Adolfo. Previously, I hadn't driven for 5 years and didn't practice much at all outside of these lessons. Adolfo is good at building your confidence, explaining the rules of the road and what to expect, and making sure you are prepared for the test and test location. He sent me images and PDFs to help me learn and remember everything better.

Vehicle was a Honda Civic for all lessons and the test (decently clean, modern, and handles well.) Minor cons: I had to be flexible with scheduling (asked if I could re-schedule a few times for the initial lessons) and got a text 3 days before one of my lessons asking if I could reschedule.

This place is amazing! I went into these lessons not feeling confident, but my instructor Faisal was able to curve that for me! During my lessons he was very patient and taught me many things about the road. I'm extremely grateful for the experience that I accumulated with him and hope to pass my upcoming road test! Edit: Forgot to update lol. I passed about a month ago with 10 points and am still grateful to Faisal!

I took classes with Adolfo. He was a wonderful instructor and was able to help me pass my driving exam. His thoroughness and patience allowed me to feel more comfortable with the car after every class. I highly recommend superior driving school, especially Adolfo.

I would definitely recommend this driving school. The instructors and front desk were very helpful and accommodating with my schedule. I had Adolfo as my instructor. He is very patient and knowledge of the road rules. I did not pass my first road test as I was nervous but did pass on the second try.

I already had experience driving so I came to this driving school just to prepare for the drivers test and refresh my mind a little bit. But, the five hour class instructor was so friendly and explained everything in an interesting way. And Adolfo the driving instructor helped calm my nerves about the driver's test and was very informative when teaching me to park and explaining the rules of the test.

Everything was super easy: rescheduling lessons, getting in touch with them, and prices were reasonable! Overall highly recommend this driving school. And btw I passed my driver's test on the first try :

My husband and I took our driving lessons and passed our road test here. Our instructor was Adolfo. He is knowledgeable, very patient and simply the best! Office staff was professional and very flexible with our schedule. I would recommend this driving school to my family and friends! Thank you Adolfo!

Had the privilege of learning with Adolfo. he was patient ver knowledgeable. My license was a long time in the making. but I finally have my license at age 57. I highly recommend Supiror driving school to anyone looking to advance their driving skills. Again, thanks again to the school but most importantly to Adolfo. he was great!

Don't waste your money, very unprofessional. First time I called, the weekday girl "was" nice when I was asking about their bundles. Second time I called to know when I can come in and how the schedule looks like, the weekend lady was annoying. She asks you what days you are free and you say which ones, she can't understand then you have to specify, but then if it's full she just says "oh we have nothing available for that day" and then offers NO suggestion whatsoever.

You have to carry the conversation. Will get you frustrated, trust me. Bad customer service. It gets worse with this weekend lady, I come in and pay, they don't take card and I had only some cash so she said it's okay just bring the rest of the cash on the first day of the class. We agreed. Then, she says ok let's schedule your classes.

She does the same exact thing she does on the phone: asks what days you are free, you say every monday, then she asks what days again! So you have to say the date for the upcoming monday if you want to do that! Then if it's unavailable she just says oh it's booked. Then awkward silence. So you have to carry the conversation with them, def do not give a shit about you.

Fast forward, we spent at least 45 minutes scheduling my classes AND I WAS STANDING THE WHOLE TIME! I was not offered no seat no water, nothing. So that was a whole red flag. But you know what, I was like ok it's whatever let me just get it over with. Fast forward, I take my first class. Guy was nice. But at the end of the class, he just gets out the car and does NOT tell me we have ended.

No "see you next time ok?" Or "ok, our session is done" he just goes on to say hi to other coworkers with no regard of his customer. Then, after first class, a week later: I wake up to email notifications saying my classes got cancelled. NOBODY CALLED ME TO INFORM WHY THEY WERE DOING WHAT THEY WERE DOING, AND MY TIME STANDING FOR 45 MINUTES DEALING WITH THE WEEKEND LADY WHO WAS VERY FRUSTRATING WAS WASTED.

I call right away, first time the phone got picked up somebody laughed and dropped the call. Then, second time I called, it was the weekday girl that picked up and I did not have to explain what my situation was she knew who I was but did not explain anything at all. Then, I decided I was done. Fucking ridiculous. Very unprofessional. I come in, weekday girl was there.

No thorough explanation. You have to know what questions to ask or you're losing information. Overall, will not recommend. I told EVERYONE i know not to take their classes there. Do fucking better.

Excellent instructors and customer service! My instructor was Elgar and I once had Muhammad. Patient, understanding, and professional. Thank you for your time and helping me get my license!

I do not write reviews but I hope that my experience at this place help everyone including how this facility is been managed. I had my first driving lesson and road test already scheduled and a day before I received a call cancelling my lesson because the instructor was sick. At that point, I could not make it to my road test without a lesson and I will lose a day of work.

Somehow I understood that it was an emergency and it happens especially now. After I failed my road test, I immediately made another road test appointment with the front desk receptionist for the next month (since appointments are far out). I received two text messages one to confirm my road test date, which I replied and then the other one was sent one or two weeks after, which said the road test date and to come in to the office to make the payment. Therefore, I went to the office and to my surprise the receptionist did not find my appointment and she said that it was a mistake from the other two receptionists and she will find out what happened and will email the DMV as well.

I am very upset because I will be losing a day of work and probably wait 5 more weeks until the next appointment. They must do something about it and accommodate me for the day I scheduled. People's time is valuable

I had taken driving classes from Adolfo. He is very knowledgeable and eased my nerves about driving. Due to procrastination my permit expired and had to restart the process all over again. Due to covid I completely understand there is limitations and new regulations but the lady who I asked about packages and the 5 hour class was sooooo RUDE and discouraging. I understand there is wait list but learn some customer service!

Adolfo was amazing as an instructor. Every one in my family passed with him on their first try! Cannot believe how lucky we are to have had this as a driving school, they made everything so easy and made sure we were all ready to pass. Would completely recommend using them!

This is an EXCELLENT Driving School in all aspects - 1) Very Nice Staff 2) Great, Detailed and Patient Instructors (Kent & Ublal) 3) Price, Price, Price (very fair, not over the top like most local Queens driving schools). Highly recommended.

Edgar was awesome. I took the test once 7 years ago and just didn't bother scheduling it again. After driving all these years I needed to brush up my skills for better test taking. Edgar was perfect. He was patient, explained things in a way that sticks in your head, and was very pleasant. I'll be referring my siblings to him as well when it's time for them to take the test. If it weren't for him, I'd probably have failed again. Would highly recommend everyone take their lessons with him. Wish he was my instructor 8 years ago.

Good and organized school. Andrea is very helpful. The instructors are patient. I had Adolfo and Robert as my instructors. Adolfo helped me to pass my test. Robert is good if you prefer to speak Spanish. The only thing I would say is that the instructor should let you get familiar with the controls in the car such as the flashlights, hazard lights etc...

Because you will be quizzed on this in the test. The inspector mentioned that the instructor should’ve taught me this as she asked me to put on the hazard lights and I didn’t know where the buttons were at.

My family had all gone to Superior Driving school and I understand why! My instructors were very genuine and always answer any questions I had, they were also really informative about the road test and how to the vehicle. I had Ivan and Kent as instructors and they were amazing. I'd recommend any of these instructors and this driving school!

Passed my road test at the DMV located at white stone. Driving around that neighborhood wasn’t too bad. The roads are broad, easy to do a 3 point turn and parallel park. Whatever you do, follow Adolfo’s instructions, especially his key phrase “ use your common sense”. I took 10 lessons and googled a lot of you tube videos.

I start last year becouse it's was close my house, I don't know nothing about driving prices and how to drive I stop becouse I couldn't pay, I had 3 lessens, didn't felt I learn nothing. Not going back to the school this year.

Excellent school !!! I would recommend it to every one. The staff is very nice and professional. The lady Janneth is so wonderful and easy to talk, fast and professional and she helped me so much with all my paperwork and scheduling lessons and scheduling my road test. I met the greatest driving instructor there, his name is Ken, the best man ever.

Very nice, pleasant, professional and detail oriented ... my whole stress and anxiety vanished around him. Yesterday I passed my road test, thinking how blessed I was, thinking how I got a chance to find this driving school and met wonderful people who helped me so much! 2 thumbs up and big applause for all people over there !!!

I can't say enough positive things about my experience with Superior Driving School, but more specifically with my instructor Adolfo. He was very patient, knowledgeable, and knew exactly how to help me pass the road test. I had taken 10 lessons with a competing school in Queens a year prior and went into my first exam barely knowing how to parallel park and (not surprisingly) did not pass.

I was discouraged and let significant time pass before picking up driving again. I'm so glad I moved to this school as Adolfo helped me regain my confidence, always made sure he was the instructor that was scheduled on my planned lesson dates, and took me out one on one to the road test so I could practice beforehand. Any new, anxious driver should look no further than Superior. Truly a great experience - thank you all so much!

Highly recommending this driving school! i had no experience behind the wheel and the very professional, knowledgeable and super friendly instructor got me so ready that i past the road test with the first attempt! all staff are very helpful and friendly starting from the front desk. Im very happy that i chose this driving school!

I took driving lessons and rented a car for my exam. I passed and am really grateful to my instructors for everything they taught me. Edgar and Adolfo were my instructors and they helped me out a lot. Edgar even gave me a mock road test right before the exam even though I didn't have a lesson slotted for the time before the exam. Would highly recommend the school. I would just advise you to make sure you know what time and where the lesson is before the lesson. Office is not open on Sundays.

The staff was very friendly. Adolfo was very patient as he taught me the basics of driving, corrected me in a friendly manner when I would make a mistake. Thanks to his help I was able to pass my road test with no problem, definitely would recommend this school to everyone.

My instructor oublal is such an awesome person! Really helps you all the way and truly cares. I passed the test on the first try! Only con is you have to triple check that your appointment is the same appointment you scheduled in the first time. Had a few issues with the time and place with my appointments, really just lack of communication with the people who set up your appointments. Thanks a lot!

I felt it was easy to ask questions to to the receptionist about the 5 hour class and booking a road test. Staff is kind and respectful. The 5 hour class by Abdul in my opinion was great. He really did a great job at keeping the class motivated and fun when these things can be "boring". One thing I learned, once you get comfortable driving, always remember how you drove on your 1st day on the road. Thanks Abdul and Superior Driving School!

Came in today and brought one of the package deals. First step is to have the 5 hour certificate course; the man teaching the class was great and really did care about safe driving. Unlike other places, he spoke to us and made the class participate, which was great. I'm only giving the place 4 stars because so far I've only had the class, I still need to see how the driving lessons go and how competent the instructor is. Adolfo is amazing! he patient and has the best tips and advise. I passed my road test and I'm super happy that i had him as my instructor!
