I did my driver's ED at Cowboy Yukon location which was great TERRI and DEVIN were amazing, they made you feel welcome. Did my 6hrs drive with Devin he was very patient, explain everything well pertaining to my drives and road safety. I then had my driver's test/exam and the instructor was incredibly rude, loud and talk down to me made me feel like a child.
I paid my money and I nor no one should have to feel the way I did yesterday. I am guessing if you not clear on something you not suppose to ask questions. And yes I did fail the test at Cowboy, but I went today at another competing school and pass my exam and the instructors there were more personable, friendly and not condescending like the cowboy instructor I had. I would never forget my exam experience at Cow Boys.

The man who conducted my driving exam was incredibly rude. He wouldn't stop talking over me, even after asking questions. No idea why you'd ask anyone a question and then talk over their answer. Since he wouldn't stop talking about irrelevant things, his instructions were very unclear. Instead of making minimal small talk, he would go on for awhile.
This was frustrating, to say the least. He called me "girl" in condescending ways, too. I can only imagine how much he would belittle someone who did worse than me. You think for the price you pay, you'd at least be treated well. I passed my exam at least.

Scheduling is sometimes a nightmare, if you need to adjust anything. It seems no one ever answers the phone. We had one driving session get the pick up and drop off addresses backwards (understandable, people make mistakes), show up at the wrong place, realize the problem, then cancel the appointment and charge us for a no-show! That seems to be automatic in their system, and they did correct it once the problem was pointed out, but there should be a better option than "no show".
This is after one of the instructors made my daughter cry, twice, and now she is dreading the next session. The folks we have talked to seem reasonable, it's just been a rocky start from the perspective of our kids.

Oklahoma is having unprecedented backlogs for services at the DMV. Not only will Cowboy driving teach your child how to drive safely. They also help with the frustration of dealing with the DMV. I strongly encourage any parent to have their child attend these classes. They will get you and your children moving down the right path!

I never use the i8nternet as a platform to complain, but this a situation that I am compelled to share. My daughter and I were verbally accosted by the owner of Cowboy Driving Academy today. As she was finishing her test she parked in the parking lot and did not park correctly. He got out of the car and was cursing at her and then proceeded to take me out in the parking lot and curse at me.
I told him to stop using profanity toward us.his response was."I am not talking any different than I would in a locker room".I proceeded to tell him this was not a locker room, but a place of business. He was extremely belligerent, unprofessional and was verbally assaulting toward me for 30 minutes. As this was taking place the Vice President of Cowboy Driving Academy witnessed this interaction and proceeded to do nothing to help me.
What lowlife verbally assaults a woman? I do NOT recommend anyone using this company! He belittled my daughter all through the course and has crushed her self confidence behind the wheel of the car. It is unfortunate the owner is a bully because the concept of Cowboy Driving Academy could really be a beneficial experience for many people.

My second child is currently enrolled in Drivers Education with Cowboy Driving. They are the best of the best. Their instructors know what they are doing. My first child was confident in what she learned and she is confident behind the wheel. It makes me as a parent feel a little more at ease having my young driver in the road because of Cowboy Driving.

I paid $100 two months ago so that my daughter could have her driving test specifically scheduled, be able to move her semester final around that specific time, and not be stressed on an already stressful day. We hadn't heard anything from them and we were a week out from the day so my husband called just to make sure all was good.oh yea yea, you'll be getting text and email reminders soon.
Less than 48 hours before she was supposed to take it they send the reminders with a time what is 4 hours different than the one we paid for. I get the website mentions the times can be changed but come on. No notice and they knew that kids had finals today that would need accommodating. We called and were pretty much told, too bad- "only dates are guaranteed." Okay understood.
So since she can't make that time now because it's in the middle of a final she didn't know to arrange a makeup for, can we just cancel and have a refund? Nope. They could have given more notice so we could have rearranged. Instead they made it clear it wasn't their problem. We went to the DMV this morning and got her test done there. They are seriously the nicest people! We had to get there super early but it was worth it. She passed so all is well in her world!

I would literally use ANYONE other than these people. We called back in October to confirm that we could pick our date and time for my daughter to take her test since she had finals that day. We were assured several times that we would not only get the day, but the time we wanted if available. I scheduled it for 10am December 20th, my daughter moves all her finals around for that morning so we could get it done.
I get a text 2 days before had saying that the appointment was on December 20th, but at 2pm! That is a huge difference than what I paid for. I called to ask about it and was given a very rude, "dates are guaranteed, times are not" however that isn't what I was told on the phone. I was also told that they don't give refunds, so I'm out that $100.
Then today I spoke with Brad on the phone and he was just as rude. These people honestly do not care about anything other than that money. Enjoy my $100, you obviously need it more for doing nothing that I do. PS- On a good note, my daughter went to the DMV first thing this morning and passed her test. They were incredibly nice and helpful. If anyone is looking for a place to go, that's what I would do.

I had decent sessions with an instructor here. However, when the instructors are not available, the owner conducts the driving sessions. The owner is one of the worst instructors I have ever come across. He is a very aggressive driver, even though his lectures at the academy talk about defensive driving. He made inappropriate and racist gestures at a bike rider when he was driving ( That was a big turn off for me and I would never send my kids here) I decided to take sessions here as I was just graduating and driving license is mandatory for some jobs.
But I would advise folks not to make a wrong decision like me. I got a very professional and pragmatic instruction from a driving school in Houston and received the license in no time

We have had an awesome experience once again with Cowboy Driving Academy! They make it so easy for both the student and their parents throughout the process. It really is the most important class our son will ever take and I wouldn't trust his driving instruction to any other program. A big thank you to Brad and his excellent staff of dedicated instructors!
