Cruise Control Driving School is an awarded and independent state-certified driving school that has been in business for over 20 years. Cruise Control offers driving instruction to all ages and specializes in the state-certified driving course required for 15- and 16-year-olds to receive their provisional/conditional driver's license. Our complete course also includes the SC State Driving Test from one of our certified instructors. The course also qualifies drivers age 15 to 24 for insurance premium discounts up to 10% by providing a copy of the course completion certificate to your insurance company.

I was working on all three of my lessons and we did the road test. I had the best instructor Ms. Cynthia, she was sweet, funny, honest and outgoing. She makes you feel comfortable with what you're learning and doing on the road. She'll tell you what part of the lesson, you need to practice on. She'll help you when you do something wrong or don't know how to do it. If you follow her steps and do what she tells you. You will pass this in no time. -Faith T.

I signed up for the 8-hour driving class and was honestly dreading it, but the instructor, Ms. Thomas was SO nice and managed to keep us all interested for that long period of time. Additionally, the other people in my class made the experience very interesting and fun. I would definitely recommend this for teens!

I had the best, most sweetest driving instructor in the whole world. Ms. Cynthia Simmons gives the most clear and easy to understand instructions. She always asked how I was when I got into the car with her, and would also always cheer me on when I did something well. This incredible woman deserves a raise and a party for her hard work and dedication to making sure we become good drivers.
She is patient and doesn't yell. She will make you laugh with a light joke. I felt safe and comfortable in the amazing environment she created for me to learn in. I am pretty sure this woman is an angel lol. I definitely recommend her for everyone. If I could I would give her a billion stars but even that is not enough for how awesome she is.

My son Just passed his driving test through this school. I'm so proud of him he had an overall good experience learning from the school, but remember to try your best to practice driving with your child because 6 hours of driving school is not enough, but with their help and knowledge my son has succeeded and now has his driver's license. His driving instructor Cynthia was very nice and patient and I would recommend her to anyone wanting driving lessons.

Hey everyone I would like to say this is the BEST driving lesson school in the city of Charleston! I cannot thank you guys enough & Most of all I would LOVE to give all appreciation to Miss Cynthia who I was assigned as for my instructor! She is VERY sweet & patient oh and VERY understanding if not for her I would not be a license driver! & If you're reluctant to try Cruise control?! Go for it! Cruise Control Driving School is really good to get into. I had an instructor named Cynthia Simmons and she's the best instructor in the program. She's nice, caring, honest and respectful to me. Even though she tell me here and there about my flaws on driving in the open road. But that what's make me to do better than ever. To focus the issue and practice outside of the lesson. Therefore, I'm grateful that I have a great instructor in this driving school.

I can't say enough about how much I appreciate Ms. Cynthia! She was patient, kind, and understanding with my teenage driver. She took over when my nerves couldn't handle it. I was so impressed with his progress after lessons with Ms. Cynthia. He says she did a great job helping him stay calm and not be nervous. She anwered all of his questions and made him feel comfortable and confident. I highly recommend Cruise Control Driving School!

I love this driving schoolI wouldn't have chose any other driving school. My instructor was Mr. Russel and he was amazing. Even though I know he probably was tired of me talking/ranting his head off the whole entire lesson. He was very patient, helped me learn how to drive better, told me where I made a mistake at so I could correct it, quiz me on the road signs when we got chance, AND not to mention he helped me pass my driving test.
