Harry's Driving School was founded in the mid 1940's, and is Derry's oldest licensed commercial motor vehicle driving school. Our program serves Derry, Londonderry, Hudson, Litchfield, Manchester, and more. The school offers comprehensive courses to teens and adults. At Harry's, students can expect smoke free late model cars, insurance discounts, air conditioning and dual controls, foreign language instructions, and more.The business goal of Harry's Driving School is to improve the quality of the drivers on the road by educating drivers of situations, rules, risks, regulations, and safety while operating a vehicle.

Harry's Driving School also offers a Driver Improvement Program. The cost of the program is $55.00 and is due the morning of the class. The program is six hours long and will assist in taking three points off of your driving record. Students may register when they are at least 15 years 9 months old by the first day of the course, or if students turn 16 years of age by the last day of class.
Crash facts and teens, HTS-(Highway transportation system)- Talk about the, (highway characteristics, road surface, obstacles on and off the road, (vehicles), size, design, and what it means to the driver, (the driver), age and attitude. Talk about the state road test. Give mandatory eye exam. Signs, signals, and reference points-Drivers Manual pg 34-41.
Harry's Driving School provides a special class for both students and parents to attend to. This class is held the Sunday evening before the first class. You will be notified of the time upon confirmation of the receipt of the students paperwork. According to state rules, a student must be 15 years, 9 months by the first scheduled day of class, or 16 years of age by the last scheduled day of class.
Successful completion of state forms prior to heading to the DMV can cut down on individual wait time at the DMV offices. Harry's Driving School does not offer DWI reinstatement classes. My son had an amazing experience with the classroom instructor (the daughter) both in the class and in the car, she made the class fun and the driving very comfortable for him. He was not comfortable with the father unfortunately, he gave him a lot of anxiety while driving but that is my ONLY negative.

An amazing family owned business there all very nice and they teach you everything you need give you all the time you need to finish on time so you can get your license quicker. All the information they give you is exactly what you need and it will allow you to pass the first time you take the test just like I did. I'm very satisfied.
