Steve has been teaching driver training since 1976, first starting in the Santa Clara Unified School District. Since that beginning, Steve has taught driving for Economic Driving School, in San Jose, and for Konocti Unified School District. Konocti School of Driving opened its doors in October 2003. I look forward to teaching you the driving skills you need to not only pass your DMV driving test, but to be a successful driver throughout your life. Steve is the only instructor in Lake County with a California Teaching Credential in Driver Education and Driver Training (San Jose State University), with 12 Semester units of training from the best driving teachers in the state. Steve has logged thousands of hours, teaching both classroom driver education and in-car driver training. Steve is a great teacher. I did not know how to drive and after the first lesson I knew I would be a good driver. He was very calm and talked me through everything. Where he has me drive made my driving experience a great one. He has reviewed the things we did the day before and explained what we were going to do for the lesson. I loved learning to drive in his car. It was an easy car to learn with. Give Steve a call if you want to learn from a great teacher.
