Our 38 hour course is more than just a piece of paper your child will receive. Remember, this is a form of education that allows PDA to create new ways to increase interest and knowledge. Your child will retain and practice this course information throughout their lifetime. No other driving program can match ours - We Guarantee It!We have a Louisiana State Trooper with the Public Affairs Unit that visits with our 38 hour Youth courses. The State Trooper will spend time with the students to identify the safety and awareness that is expected from a driver.
It’s very important for us to display a level of customer service that is above your expectations. Instructor and owner Dwayne Kern has 20 years of experience as a driver’s education instructor. He also possesses 10 years as a public school teacher, coach, and administrator.
Our instructors are State certified under the Louisiana driving school guidelines and also have experience with teaching students. We believe in hands on practice with many activities that we teach.

38 Hour Youth Course
Drive appointments are posted frequently for students who have completed all of their class sessions and have been granted permission to schedule. Buckle up, put both hands on the wheel, and let Precision Driving Academy roll out the roadmap for getting your driver's license. With experience, incentives, and a flexible system of classes, our driving school meets your demand for superior driver education. We offer comprehensive driver education packages for teens that include the required 30 hours of classroom and 8 hours of behind-the-wheel training.
Not only do we want to teach you about driving, but we help you to become a confident, safe driver. Safety is our top priority. All of the courses at our driving school focus on using proper procedures and common sense while driving. It's important for us to help reduce the stress and anxiety that come with learning how to drive.
A 24 hours notice is required if a student is unable to attend a scheduled course to receive a refund (the total amount minus a $50 deposit). A 24 hours notice is required if a student is unable to attend a drive time or a $65 cancellation fee will be assessed. This fee must be paid before the next scheduled drive in order to continue the behind-the-wheel training.
All students enrolled in driver education must present a TIP to our driving school. You can obtain your TIP at the OMV. The cost of the TIP will be the cost of a regular license; however, no additional fee will be assessed when the student completes driver's education and returns to the office to obtain a learner's permit.
Parent/Guardian required to meet @PDA at the end of drive #4 to sign paperwork for certificate of completion. LA Class E Driving Manual: Information will be given at the parent/guardian information session. Sharpen your driving skills with a two-hour private driving lesson with one of our state certified driving instructors.

We were disappointed with the customer service at this driving school. We walked into the office to ask for information regarding driving courses. There was no one up front. We walked into the classroom fool of students. Hardly found someone to ask questions, but it didn't help. Lady at the office didn't answer questions we asked, picked up the phone and talked for a while! We were in hurry and left her a phone number to call us back. She didn't call us back, we had to call her.

After initial driving session we had some concerns and reservations. The team at Precision immediately addressed the concerns and put us at ease. As parents we only want what is best for our children and regardless of age protect them however we can. The overall experience with Precision has been good and would recommend them for your student drivers. Can't say enough about Precision Driving Academy. Their instructors were very detailed. They made everything so easy for my daughter to understand. The were very fair and honest with her assessments. The whole experience was very convenient for us because of the weekend classes and the instructors picking up at the house for the driving part of the course. I would recommend Precision to anyone looking for a driving school for their new driver.
