Ken Dickerson
founder
Ken Dickerson is the founder of Dickerson Driving School, Inc. and is a State Certified Driving Instructor in Georgia. Ken is responsible for the successful education of thousands of drivers in Cherokee County over the past 50 years. He has a Masters Degree in Driver's Education from the University of Georgia and is retired from the Cherokee County Board of Education as a teacher of some 35 years. Ken has continued to teach private driving lessons since retirement and also drives a school bus in Cherokee County, which he has done for the last 50 years.

I was very anxious about driving and held on to my fears for a very long time, but I signed up for courses at Dickerson after finally setting my mind to learning. They really helped me to start learning to drive and gave me defensive driving tips. I had a great instructor and I was able to improve my driving even with just having a few lessons. And now I drive almost everyday and am looking to get my license. Thanks Dickerson for that confidence booster and all you taught me to get me started with learning to drive! You helped me so much! Very nice staff who are very helpful!

The instructor was very nice and inviting. He never judged us and was extremely knowledgeable with the course material. The atmosphere was comfortable, the fact that they have padded office chairs really makes a difference. The free breakfast and coffee was a great plus! The owners were warm and kind and helped me throughout my experience. If your looking for a great school for your classes, look no further this place is it!

Very sweet owners who call you by name and make you feel welcome. Canara was a great instructor for the Risk Reduction class. She genuinely cared about all of us attending and the class was able to open up about our life and struggles. I believe we all took something home from the Risk Reduction course. I'd suggest this place to anyone needing to take the course.

After taking the in depth course from the Dickerson Driving School, I have become a better driver. Not only does the course go through the normal classroom notes, but it also provides interesting ways to describe on-road situations and consequences of unsafe driving. Even now, I still remember specific driving rules because of the system that Dickerson Driving School uses. This is the course I would recommend to anyone looking for a good driving school.
