Basic Rider Course
Report
The Basic Rider Course is a building-block curriculum made to introduce or reacquaint riders with the basic riding skills and traffic awareness to properly interact with other road users.
Instruction consists of familiarization with motorcycle controls and operation, through the basic riding skills of straight line riding, shifting, turning, and braking. As the class proceeds, riders learn more advanced skills such as limited-space maneuvers, quick-stop drills, obstacle avoidance, and other exercises designed to build confidence and foster a positive mental attitude. Successful completion of the BRC along with minimum scores on the knowledge and skill evaluations will earn a waiver of ALL testing at the Drivers License office.

My wife and I just finished our 3 wheel class and we would highly recommend Adventure rider to anyone wanting to ride 2 or 3 wheel motorcycle. We can not say enough good things about our instructor AL he not only educated us on riding safely but made learning fun. He will give you exact instructions and take the time to correct any issues you might have. Thanks again!

It was a great course! I went from never even touching a motorcycle to being able to ride one in 2 days. The coaches were very professional, great at teaching, and very helpful throughout the class. Safety was number one priority and everything was met beyond my expectations. Would recommend beginning riders to do this course for the experience.

Lots of riding time more then I thought I would get both instructors were excellent I did a better struggling at first because I mostly road a motorcycle that you can only get an Asia that was it was semi automatic so I kept forgetting the clutch out of Habit but they help me power through it and taught me how to properly use it Also if you have never ridden a motorcycle before get some practice time on the bicycle see you know your balance as The instructors Are not gonna ride the bike for you But a big tip I can give to anyone who wants to take the class during the summer something I should have done is we're some thing light and bright and bring a hydration pack full of ice

The courses are crowded, and time is limited as other courses fall immediately afterward. Consequently, the focus of the lead instructor was to stay on schedule. If you are like me- an elderly neophyte I soon found myself falling behind and without the time necessary to manage the drills. If you are a novice and can afford it, private lessons would be much more valuable. Also, the level of communications from the owners is abysmal, lacking the courtesy to reply to emails.

Finished the course today and passed! The coaches were amazing ^^ thanks to Jane and Wendal for making this experience unique. They are great instructors (but don't take my word for it, SIGN UP and find out for yourself! ) They have lots of experience and can answer virtual any questions you have. We all (trainees and coaches) laughed, joked and (trainees) improved/learned on our skills over this weekend course. Definitely recommend!

I had a great experience with this course. I was a first time rider, but there were also a lot of experienced riders in my group. James and Alan (Al) were my coaches, and they were both fantastic. They explained everything very clearly and made sure to be realistic when it comes to expectations. Al in particular was a great teacher, he was very encouraging and helpful when advising you how to correct something.
Then a nod of approval from James meant you actually were starting to do it correctly (and it behooved you to keep getting better). They reviewed material for the written portion and there was plenty of practice for the practical. Overall, a very good learning experience, thank you!

Al was a great instructor for this course, I signed up as a beginner not knowing anything to learning different maneuvers, stops, swerving and turns.. Al was very patient and thorough in his teachings and he made sure we all understood the course. I would highly recommend this course. Al has over 20 years of experience and it shows. Thanks again for this experience.

My mom, brother, and I took the training together and Gary and Brad were great! They were so helpful and patient. They wanted everyone to do well, so they answered all of our questions and reassured us of our abilities when we got discouraged, and gave us a kick in the pants when we needed it! It was a really good experience with them. I'm glad I chose Adventure rider

Very good course for beginners and people looking to get there endorsement. Amazing coach’s Gary & Gary had them on sat./sun. course at Seminole town center. Couldn’t of had a better experience. It is very hot out there so consider taking protection from sun for two straight days. Other than that highly recommended.
( In my opinion, if you do NOT know anything about riding a motorcycle, manually operated transmissions or have patience with learning. This experience will be a little harder for you. Like I stated, just in my own personal opinion.)

I took the Basic Rider course and had a great experience! Al and James were outstanding instructors who really took the time to make sure I was safe, understood the information and was well prepared for the final riding test. I would recommend this for any one who wants to learn or brush up on your motorcycle skills.

I completed the 2 day basic riding course. It was a great experience! It has been 18 years since I have been on a motorcycle and has been something I've wanted to get back to doing, but in the safe and legal way. This class is very informative and is also great for beginners who have never road. The coaches James and Al we're great. They are a great team of couches to work with.
They made me feel more confident in my riding and taught my more of the safety aspects. If you are thinking of take a basics riding course as a refresher course or if your a beginner take this course with them. I will definitely recommend them. Thanks again Al and James.

The training program that Adventure Rider Training has, is phenomenal. James and Al, were absolutely spot on with everything they taught. they prove that their knowledge goes beyond the book, by showing their ability on the bike to back it up. Great class, and a great staff. Thank you for a great time in motorcycle training.

The basic three wheel class was well run. Jeff, our instructor, was very thorough. When we went to the range I and others found the small orange and green markers rather hard to.identify be cause they were only about an inch high and rather dark and dirty. They almost blended in with the asphalt and markings. This became harder as the sun was setting. Perhaps if they were freshly sprayed they would be easier to identify. I really want to pass this and ride safely.

Rider coach Gary and Sherry were absolutely amazing and were able to not only demonstrate skills but were able to articulate feedback to myself and the other students in ways we were able to vastly improve and immediately! Even if you're an experienced rider you WILL learn from these classes, a few experienced riders had eureka moments. But even a few riders who had no experience (that really showed in the beginning) excelled and showed immediately improvement, one of these students scored better on the assessment better than 99% of the class! That is an absolute testament to Both of these rider coaches!
