We offer the 38 hour pre licensing class, the LA Driving School Driving Improvement and Defensive Driving, the 14 hour class and a number of special classes customized to our clients. The Lafayette area has several great driving school, A Freeman Driving School is among those driving schools. Since 1986, A Freeman Driving school has been teaching our customers to be confident and skilled drivers. We pride ourselves in excellent customer service. Reach out to one of our knowledgeable staff members and they will help you with any questions you may have. You have the option to choose from a variety of driver education packages because we know not everyone needs the same services.
Are you wishing to lower insurance rates or remove a traffic violation from their driving record? Take our six-hour defensive driving course. The class covers the basics and hazards of driving as well as alcohol and drug education. Book fee is included. The Insurance Reduction course meets the first fours hours of each Defensive Driving Course.
All students enrolled in driver education must present a TIP to our driving school. You can obtain your TIP and the OMV. You must be 14 years and 9 months old to obtain a TIP. The cost of the TIP will be the cost of a regular license; however, no additional fee will be assessed when the student completes driver's education and returns to the office to obtain a learner's permit.

A Freeman Insurance/ Driving Academy is a very friendly, professional, and exceptional place of business. Not only is the staff genuine and kind, but they truly have your best interest at heart. I participated in the Driving Academy. If you are looking for a place to learn how to drive, or even get insurance, I highly recommend this place of business.

I have been a customer for a year now and can truthfully say that Mr. Freeman and his staff go above and beyond to help with whatever you need. Can't praise them enough.
