Soooo bad experience. My 16 year old daughter was yelled at by one of their instructor while she was driving with him for test. I guess he forgot that she was there to practice and take test. The reason why he yelled at her because she slow down for safety. She drove back to the 911 office with tears and didn't want to take test anywhere for more than 6month because he scared her so much.
By the way, this's not my 1st experience. My 3 sisters had bad experience in this driving school and finally left with nothing including my daughter. All total, they treated wrong 4 of my family. I'm absolutely done.

I must start off by saying that I am(still) overly impressed by the customer service I was given at this place from the moment I walked in; I was immediately greeted by a young Asian woman with long hair(I didn't ask her name) who really took the time to explain the progrem in full detail and answer ALL of my questions. I didn't have an appointment as I just casually stopped in due to being in the area for an appt.
I have been "shopping" for a driving school for my teenage twins for a little over 6 months and just have been disappointed and let down in the quality of customer service the "competitors" offer. I am so relieved and excited that I finally found a GREAT driving school to enroll my boys into. We live in South Auburn and are very much willing to do this commute due to the excellent experience that I was given by this young lady. Kudos to her! We look forward to your continued business!

The hands-on driving experience my son received was very well. I believe it helped him prepare for when he passed his skills driving test. However, I rated 3 stars because the on-line instruction was not engaging. I was listening during each lesson and the instructor talked more about his experiences when he was an active police officer rather than teaching the actual curriculum.
My son took the Knowledge Test with Kent 911 and did not pass on his first try. He took some time to study and took the Knowledge Test again with Kent 911 and they told him he did not pass again. They told him he received the same score as the first time he took the test. He was adamant he did not fail. He asked Kent 911 to double check his test score, and he received no response back.
We decided to have my son take the Knowledge Test at a different driving school. On the day of his scheduled test, this new driving school informed us that my son had already passed the knowledge test as it was put in the system by Kent 911. My son finished his driving skills test with the new driving school and passed first time. I am very disappointed in Kent 911 for providing mis-information to my son about his second Knowledge Test attempt and then not even having the common courtesy to let him know he actually passed.
He waited an additional few weeks to study more just to find out he actually passed. He could have taken the skills test during these few weeks and received his license quicker. Kent 911 needs to improve their instruction to ensure it is focused on the material. Kent 911 also needs to improve their record keeping and communication so others will not experience what my son went through.

My husband and I love this place. We were referred by a close friend of the family who sent her daughter through the drivers training. We then sent our oldest daughter through their program and heard about the robust training, the stories they share of the loss of loved ones from driving under the influence etc., we sent our remaining five children with no regrets.
We paid allot of money but it was so worth it. I love that retired police officers are the instructors and that they teach defensive driving skills. We highly recommend 911 driving school for everyone who needs to learn how to drive.

The overall experience was good just circumstances that did not work out in our favor with COVID and social distancing requirements. My son was already a later start in age and could not get drives scheduled in a timely manner to meet the requirements before he turned 18, so we we're kind of done with it all and now he is trying to get his license. Overall, it is a good driving school.

Even during this time of not meeting in person, the instruction was well done. My daughter thrived in the classes and during the drives. She passed her knowledge and skills test the first time. I sat in on the first session with the instructor and felt he was down to earth, realistic, and kind. Thank you.

Aaron was an incredible instructor! He effectively connected with my teen and provided clear and real-time feedback to ensure safe driving practices were understood. Additionally, he kept me informed of areas where my teen needed additional practice. I highly recommend 911 in Kent, and am grateful for Aaron!

911 Driving School was the best decision we could have made when sending our grandson to driving school. The price is very reasonable and the training is excellent. Even while going through the pandemic, 911 was able to teach the rules of the road and take my grandson out for his mandatory on road driving sessions. They provide the written test and once you pass that you make an appointment with the DMV to take the written test. Because of their teachings my grandson passed his driving test on the first try and has his license.

Scam alert. I have taken road test twice with them and both times I failed with approx. 6ish marks. Second time fail was seriously uncalled, it felt the examiner had already decided the end result before even starting the test. He gave instructions late and then deducted marks for late signaling. He even deducted my marks for not checking left blind spot that was definitely not the case with me.
I opted not to argue at the end but I won't ever recommend the school to my friends as of course nobody wants to loose confidence unnecessarily. My husband gave test around 6 years back and he had a very nice experience. I guess it depends on the current staff. Note : Examiner's mask was not properly covering his nose.

911 Driving School of Kent is the best driving school I've ever attended. The instructors are always nice and supportive, and they provide a quality experience in the classroom and on the road. An important mission of this school and its instructors is to ensure that their students complete this course with an understanding of how to be safe on the road and - let's face it - return home alive.
With that at the core of their purpose, it doesn't feel like some old man is barking at you on how to operate a motor vehicle. Instead, it feels like a family member or someone you can depend on is guiding on how to be a mindful driver. In other words, the school and its instructors care about your life, and it shows in the quality education that you (or your prospective student) will receive. Hands down, this is an amazing driving school and I recommend it to all new drivers and parents. You won't be disappointed.

Did the road test here twice. The second try was especially memorable because apparently, I didn't come to a complete stop even though the speedometer showed '0' on the screen. The explanation was that, oh, your car could be at 1/2 a mile and it will show '0' on the dashboard. But I feel that a 0 means 0 on a digital speedometer.
I don't recommend taking a test here given the unpleasant experience, but I guess you could go for a warmup with the instructor so that the subjectivities are understood. It is also very difficult to get through the school's line.

Their online class is very good - I personally find it not only practical but also as efficient. The teacher(s) are qualified teachers with experience in their fields. The study material definitely help the students learn well and the test was done well, easy to understand by students. By the time I'm writing this review my kid isn't doing the practice driving yet so I'll update on that more later. Communication with office staff is also good. It was easy for me to understand regarding to their system/process (after covid).

I don't recommend their skill testing service. This place just stopped the process for a small mistake, and told us to re-apply. Other driving school was way better: spending more time on my daughter and giving detail feedbacks by telling what you did well, what you missed, etc. We wasted $80 in 10 minutes in this place.

Excellent driving school! Very pleased with the instruction both in class & hands on. My son has been driving for 3 years now and is a very safe & careful driver! Also, the office staff is amazing! When I needed a copy of his certificate to show driving class completion for car insurance purposes (over a year later) they were so quick to look that up and email it to me! I was so impressed! I highly recommend 911 Driving School of Kent!

SCAM ALERT* This has to be by far the most lucrative/legal way to get money from people desperately in need of a service. Rude, condescending, and aloof is the best way I can describe this place. I took the test four times.miraculously getting the exact failing score even though the test is "different" each time. JUST GO TO THE DOL AND SAVE YOUR MONEY! CHARLES NEEDS TO FIND A NEW PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT.

So far, my daughter has had 2 drives. The first drive THEY cancelled and it takes weeks to get another drive schedule. This last drive they charged me $40 "no-show" and cancelled the drive for being 10 min late (construction) in which I called while on the road to say we're almost there, not a no-show! Apparently no one bothers to answer the phone or check messages.
So they just want to charge you & cancel ASAP. If you charge a late fee, why cancel the lesson? That is certainly not in the student's best interest. Such a scam. Perhaps they should pay their students for their cancellations & lack of available appointments.

I have been driving safely for 15 years, as a mom I frequently drive children around! Because of circumstances where my license in CA had just expired before my move to WA I had to take these tests again! I wish I had read the reviews on here before I picked a driving school at random to get the tests done. I failed to pass the driving test with these folks for the silliest of reasons.
Now I see that I will have to pay them a few more times for a few more tests before I am allowed to pass. Also. Outsourcing drivers test to the driving schools is a conflict of interest at best and just a money making scam at worst. Wish the DMV did these tests themselves to keep it unbiased. Update: Hannah from their office called me to take a road test again for free the next day with a "nicer" instructor as she put it and I passed. Go figure.

Horrible experience. Where should I start. First I made an appointment for a drive test, then I got there and was told that i wasn't in the system. Ok so you charged me the money from my credit card but i wasn't in the system? First reschedule. Second time I went there after the rescheduling, was told that they put down my name and email wrong so I still can't take the test.three reschedules!
And they wouldn't admit it's their fault. That's not even all. The tester Marc was extremely rude. I get it that they need to be tough to ensure safety, but they have no right to talk me down like I'm a piece of garbage. This is not a god damn boot camp. I would recommend people to steer clear from this place.

Never, ever go to this place. Crazy driving school and crazy staff. Extremely unprofessional. Without any accident or violations, I have driven in China and Chicago for 10 years, This place make me look like a piece of shit. They failed me 4 times without any comments but just asked me to drive with more confidence. I find it extremely unprofessional to let the instructor play the examiner role at the same time.
I do not expect they can teach their student or approach the customers well in this fashion. Failing people three thousand times for making more money is unacceptable and is some kind of opening defiance of the law I believe. I have never encountered this in my 10 years driving experience, and it is very disappointed. I do wish they success, unfortunately I will never recommend this place to anyone I know.

This place is a scam. I had an appointment at 11:30am and the instructor was not available until moments later. I was then told By the instructor that she was in a hurry and had other appointments to make. Do not schedule a drivers(skills) test with Janelle. Don't come here if you like to be a bait. They just want your money. Lastly, the manager, Brianna, is unprofessional and needs to learn better customer service skills.
