Able II Driving School

We purchased the 5-lesson package for our daughter to improve her driving skills, and the experience with Bill and Jason was exceptional! Thanks to their instruction, she passed her road test on her initial attempt and has significantly boosted her confidence. I wholeheartedly endorse Able 2 Driving!

I recently completed a series of 10 lessons with Darryl. He was incredibly patient and kind, and I eagerly anticipated our weekly sessions. Thanks to his guidance, I successfully obtained my driver's license. Thank you!

I've had a great experience with able 2 driving school. every driving instructor is very professional and honest, also very good about calling to remind you of your lesson the day before! I highly recommend this driving school. 100/100

Joining Able 2 Driving School is one of the best decisions I have ever made. My instructor was very patient with me and helped me calm and boosted my confidence before the test. The classes here are not just to get the license; but I learned to be a careful driver on the road. The instructor(s) were very considerate. As an international student here they helped me get familiar with the road rules of US. And the mandatory 5-hour online class was also very helpful to understand the driving rules. It's a great investment if you are new to driving here.

The people who work here are nice enough and my son liked his instructor, however, if I had it to do over again, I'd keep my money. We dropped just shy of $700 with the end result being my son failing his test which I could have accomplished for free. Further, this school no longer picks up and drops off (which they say is due to COVID, but c'mon). consequently, you wind up spending hours of your own time shuttling your kid back-and-forth to driving school at inconvenient times for people with jobs.

One last thing I'll mention is that I felt a little "bate-and-switched" on having to buy an extra lesson. I bought one of their packages, and as part of the package, the deal was that they would take him to his test. When it came time to schedule the road test, they informed me that we had "used all of his lessons" and I would have to buy another one.

It seems to me they should have told me that when I was scheduling his "last" lesson and wasn't going for the road test. Perhaps this was an honest mistake, but if other people reading this have the same experience, then it is just a way to squeeze a few more pennies out of their customers. I suppose had he passed, I likely wouldn't be mentioning it as I would have seen the time and money as worth it. However, I am down several hundred dollars and 12 hours of my own time taking him to and from school, and have nothing to show for it.

Bottom line: If you have no way to teach your kid yourself, or dropping $700 for possibly no actual benefit doesn't faze you, then I suppose this isn't a terrible option. For me, I have one more kid who will need a license in a few years, and I'll teach him myself.

This Is Such An Amazing School! They're very professional and have great communication in terms of scheduling lessons and reminding you of your appointments. I passed my road test on my second try I'd like to give a huge thank you to the driving instructor Glenn he's very professional and gives amazing instructions and give you his full attention during lessons. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get their driver's license.

Well I have read the reviews here and I feel some people just want to be negative about it from my experienced. I had a great experience and instructor which her name is Kathy was very helpful and patiently help me with everything I needed to learn very informative and positive. I enjoyed the great experience and I will totally recommend it to anyone looking to learn how to drive correctly or to pass your driving test. Great people and very professional need help go to them no doubt.

I just finished my first private lesson with Darryll, one of the instructors. He was exceptionally knowledgeable and patient, and he had our safety in mind at all times. I'd highly recommend him and ABLE 2 Driving School to anyone looking to learn how to drive. The other staff were also very friendly and responsive. After I paid for my private lessons, I received a call to schedule my lessons within two days.

I'm sure people have had great experiences here, but I want to represent another perspective from my demographic. As someone who doesn't have much access to a car outside of lessons (and has some fears about driving), I didn't experience enough patience from my driving instructors. Other factors may have been at play. The five-hour class was fine.

Took driver ed here about 10 years ago. I believe my instructors name was sean. He was professional, knowledgeable and very funny. He was a great teacher and 10 years later I'm still accident free.

What a great bunch of caring, helpful people working here. Jason the manager is super helpful and tries his best to accommodate your needs. The instructor Ed did a great job helping my daughter achieve confidence in her driving, he was patient, knowledgeable and she felt very at ease with his instructions. The receptionist is a sweetheart too. highly recommend them for all your driving needs. we will definitely be back for more lessons.

I had decided to get my license as a college graduation gift for myself. I had gotten the RT-3 package and was able to feel ready in no time. All of their instructors are heavily invested in your success and are knowledgeable about driving rules. They have given me a lot of helpful tips that no longer make me fearful behind the wheel.

Able to drive school was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I was in a bad car accident over 10 years ago and wanted to shake off the anxiety and get more comfortable driving. I paid for the highest package that they had available and I would recommend it for anyone who really wants their license. The experience, the communication and the staff were nothing short of amazing!

This was probably the best investment ever. I was shy of my 30th birthday when I began taking lessons. I had recently relocated from NYC where i relied on public trans. I needed to get my license ASAP. I cannot emphasize this enough! This will be the best driving school you'll find. The instructors are emphatic, honest and wonderful teachers. In a few lessons-certainly less than I originally expected-I was able to obtain my license.

The part I am most thankful for-in addition to the actual lessons-it's that your taught the importance of being a vigilant driver. Classes here are not just to pass your license; instead you learn how to be a practical, respectful and careful driver while on the road. I would encourage anyone to take lessons, and pay for the road test package. I was so nervous when i started taking lessons and within a couple of weeks I became a confident driver. Thank you Jason and Mike! The able 2 driving school team is fantastic and super accommodating. A true gem.

Absolutely the most positive driving experience I've ever had the pleasure of undertaking. As someone who struggles every day with clinical anxiety, the calm and controlled nature of the course was worth every penny. I came to Able 2 Driving School after having not driven for 3 years. I was somewhat in practice because I was forklift certified at the job I had at the time, but a forklift does not compare to a car.

Due to my mental situation, stress is something that I don't have an easy time dealing with, especially in a short amount of time. My instructor kept a positive, calm demeanor even when I was struggling at my worst. I STRONGLY recommend going to Able 2 Driving School and going the extra mile for the road test package. A new driver will 100% leave with all the skills necessary to get out on the road alone. 5 stars, I'd give six if I could.

Both our kids took lessons from Able 2 Driving School. A friend of ours recommended Able 2 and we were not disappointed. Cathy was the instructor most recently for most of the lessons. She was a great instructor and we could tell that there was a rapid improvement in both driving skill and driving confidence. Passing the road test on the first try is a testament to how well Cathy and Jason prepare their teenage students. I would highly recommend Able 2! Especially to parents of new, young drivers!

My granddaughter took Drivers Ed in school but still did not have much confidence in parallel parking. John took her out once and her self-esteem changed tremendously. After two more lessons she took her road test this past Thursday with our first significant snowfall and aced it. I could not say enough about John he gave her tips on how to park with and without snow. He was the best. Thanks John!

My son just finished several lessons with Daryl! I can't say enough about him, not only did my son learn so much but Daryl got to know him personally and my son really liked him as a person too! Excellent customer service and punctual for every lesson. They came to our house and picked up my son each time. I highly recommend Able ll. Made the whole learning to drive experience smooth and prepared him well for the road test that they supplied the car for as well. Definitely recommend this driving school.

They are bad. I took package class and they needs to schedule a road text for me. I waited more than a week and they are still not schedule for me. Their last two private driving lessons needs to follow their road test schedule. It's waste my time and money and I would never recommend my friends to this school

Took my 17 year old daughter. John White was great with her! She essentially had the same instructor throughout the lessons which was very nice. She had the confidence to not only take her driver's test downtown, but she can drive anywhere now! Thank you Able 2 and especially John for your great job!

I just passed my road test (first try). My Instructor was Mike. He is absolutely the best. really calm, funny and very knowledgeable. I signed up for 8 lessons plus the 5 hr course and had fun all the way while learning. I definitely recommend Able 2 Driving School and ask for Mike. You won't regret.
