Vaswani Driving Academy

Mr. Vaswani is it! I took the driver's test multiple times and due to my anxiety failed every time until I met Mr. Vaswani. Prior to the pandemic I had completed my 5hr class with Mr. Vaswani but took my (groupon) driving class elsewhere. Big mistake. Needless to say I failed. A few months ago I decided to go for it again. I loved Mr. Vaswani's energy when I took his five hour class prior to covid (and yes he will give you a full 5 hrs and it's worth it) so I decided to sign-up for the 5hr class and driving lessons.

Still dealing with anxiety Mr. Vaswani was able to coach, support and pivot to my needs. HIs patience is immaculate and his feedback is worth taking into account. He is an extremely experienced instructor and his team is super warm and kind (shoutout to Amber for providing me with support and confidence during my wait time). Due to Mr. Vaswani's guidance and support I am excited to say I will never have to take a road test again!

I PASSED this past Monday! If you are nervous, never been behind of the wheel, heck even if you are experienced, Mr. Vaswani has you. He will keep real all the time, you just have to be open, listen and make the recommended adjustments. You are in great hands, as I said before Mr, Vaswani is it {periodt}. I am 1 month late with posting this message but I have to thank Vaswani for his words of courage and confidence with helping me pass my road test finally. This was my 3rd time and I passed with a lot of knowledge and confidence that I didn't have before. If anyone wants to pass their road test you should definitely reach out to him. You will not regret it.

Mr Vaswani is very patient instructor and teach one on one. If you are interested in passing your road test look no further than Vaswani Driving academy. It's an experience that will remain with you forever to be a save driver

I passed my road test today with Vaswani today on the third trial. I had been to two different driving schools and failed because I wasn't taught the basics. I went to Vaswani intending to take 10 lessons but on the first day when he assessed me, he was honest and professional and said you don't need 10 classes! I will give you 5 lessons and you will be comfortable to take the test.

He was very consistent and actually teaches you how to drive! He taught me what the different car light signals meant which I didn't know before. He is patient and gives you the opportunity to ask questions when you don't understand anything. He genuinely wants his students to pass and not there to just make money of you. Finally on the door of my road test, he gave me a final lesson, then test you as an examiner will test his student. He is the best!

Mr. Vaswani is a great instructor. I had no experience when I started. But by the end of it I felt very confident in my driving. He's very patient and very respectful. I felt very comfortable learning with him. And if I made mistake he calmly and safely corrected it. Great experience and a great man. Highly recommend.

Good teaching, I literally learned driving here. Mr Vaswani is nice to chat. However, the school is too busy. Seemed impossible to schedule practice classes before the road test when I needed them the most.

Vaswani is the best of the best! I've never driven a day in my life but after taking his classes, I was able to pass my road test on the FIRST try! 100% recommend for anyone who wants to get their license. The best, pressure-free lessons ever! 10/10

I highly recommend this driving school, my instructor was Carlos and he taught me the easiest ways to learn driving techniques. He always messaged to confirm each driving class and he was always on time. Answered all my questions and paid full attention to me while I was driving. During each driving class I was comfortable, relaxed and confident and more importantly I PASSED the test on my first try. I passed my road test. Vaswani you changed my life. I will absolutely refer Vaswani Driving School to my friends and family. Vaswani is helpful, intelligent and sharp. He educated me on what to expect during the road exam, and instructed me on areas that I could improve. I heard about Mr. Vaswani through a friend who has high anxiety like I do. I was nervous at the first meet but after talking with Mr. Vaswani I knew this was the place for me. I got a great package: 5-hour class, 3 driving classes, appointment for the driving test, and car rental for the day of the test. Mr. Vaswani was patient, detailed, and always put safety first!

He taught me not only to drive safely but how to drive smart! I learned so much from him that I am constantly correcting my husbands driving! Mr. Vaswani definitely properly prepared me for driving not only for the test but for the rest of my driving career. I took the 5 hour class and got the package for 10 lessons. Now, a month later, I passed my driving test on the first try. A big thank you to Mr. Vaswani and his patience in helping me learn how to drive from literally zero experience. I had the best time and I'm sad that my driving lessons are over now. Highly recommend and will be forever grateful! The best driving school you will come across in the Bronx, I promise you!

I could not be anymore happier with Vaswani's Driving Academy. I have been taking lessons with Vaswani and passed on my first try. He is super patient and very attentive to improving your skills, while building your confidence as a driver. Definitely, worth every penny and will be recommending him.

Ok so I had to stop going to this driving school the instructor was none responsive he never returned my calls or text. So annoying. I live very close by that was my main reason for going to Vaswani driving school. The cars are filthy and smelly the office is clean but the vehicle are dirty and old. I would never suggest anyone go there. Do yourself a favor get all you lesson scheduled b4 you leave on your 1st lesson. Don't get roped into paying up front with out getting your schedule because when you call to book a lesson no one will answer your call and texting this people is a joke. You have been warned!

The best driving school around! Mr. Vaswani is a real teacher. He knows how to instruct and teach you that you are actively learning. He takes his time and pays attention to you. I have tried other driving schools (Coldwell and American Auto Driving School) and the instructors were on their phones during my lessons. I have felt that they provided me with the skills that I needed to take my driving test. I plan on recommending Vaswani Driving Academy to everyone I know. He helped established the skills and confidence I needed to get my license I the first try.

Dayanna was the absolute best instructor! She was extremely patient and kind. She helped eased my nerves the first few days of lessons. As time progressed, I would then become so much more comfortable and gained so much more knowledge and understanding through Dayanna's teachings. She taught me everything I needed to know to pass the test and thanks to her on my very first try, I passed! I'm so thankful for Vaswani driving school.

I would highly recommend anyone looking to take lessons here. I'm so happy to have accomplished one of the biggest fears I've struggled with for so long. Having previously failed the road test, I was very focused on passing the retake. My opportunities were driving more defensively and honing my scanning while driving. And, managing my anxiety around taking the test again. I met with Vaswani in August 2019 and told him exactly what my driving experience was and my nervousness around the test. Because I was also looking to do the BX Road Test and wanted a school to close by, Vaswani's Driving School was a great fit.

I was paired with Carlos and from the first lesson he was straightforward about my driving strengths and what I needed to work on. Each lesson we had a targeted plan for what we needed to focus on, which made it very easy to practice and gauge my performance from lesson to lesson. Carlos was definitely a teacher who positively encouraged and pushed me to drive defensively while maintaining avid consideration for other drivers. And, I found Carlos' parallel parking technique to be more effective and simpler than I had previously been taught.

In general, his tips around lane changing, turning etc. encouraged me to be decisive and ultimately become a better driver. I was able to pass my road test a month after starting with them so I would highly recommend Vaswani's Driving School and Carlos!

I was given around 15 lessons and got signed up for my road test by Vaswani. He did a very good job at teaching, but also letting you learn for yourself about what it takes to drive without someone holding your hand. He is big on safety and makes sure you follow all rules which is what allowed me to pass my road test on the first try thanks to him.

Whenever I had questions he would always answer thoroughly and if I made a mistake, he would always make sure to have me do it again and again till I got it perfect. He is also very flexible with time and is patient. I felt safe having him be my instructor and I'm glad I had hIm because now I have my license. I really recommend attending his driving academy. I had a great experience!

I had failed my road test with Vaswani Driving School after purchasing a package of 11 classes. His classes were too expensive and there was so much I should have been taught within those 11 lessons before taking my road test. Some people prolong the process of teaching so they can stay in business. I've only met one honest person within that school that really wants to help, the tall slim Dominican guy.

After my instructor didn't show up due to weather conditions he was willing to still give the lesson in a blizzard. You won't be taught everything in that book, most is learned through experience but it's up to the instructors if they care enough to properly prepare you. This review is not to bash anyone but to educate those who are really looking to advance in their career as I did. 1.

Dayanna and Vaswani gave me all the tools I needed in order to pass my road test this past Wednesday, and I could not be more grateful. I purchased a package here over a year ago and after much procrastination and doubt, finally finished up my lessons this month. This is by far the best driving school I've ever been to. And I've been to 3 different ones. Vaswani is a great teacher and his staff of instructors are just as great. I had the pleasure of having Elvin as my instructor and he was amazing. He wanted to see what I knew first and was surprised but then helped me so much once we found my weaknesses.

He was a patient and clear spoken instructor and I am very happy with the outcome. I got my driving license! Thank you to everyone at Vaswani Driving Academy, especially Elvin! Please come give them a try if your looking for a great driving school.

If you need lessons for driving and looking to feel comfortable and feel confident. This is the place to be and not feel Disappointed. I truly appreciate the time VASWANI took out for me. From the 5 hour class feeling as if i spent an hour there because how engaged and informational VASWANI was, made it such a good fun experience. Let's not forget his Awesome driving techniques, I had trouble with parallel parking, just follow the VASWANItechnique you'll perfect it every time.

So forget about that 45° triangle everyone mentions, trust me this man has ways of driving safely and efficiently and knows what he's talking about that once the time comes you will be ready to take your test. Be patient and don't rush take advantage of the lessons they are so worth wanting to live by for everyday driving. Passed my test the first time! I go to this driving school and I sit there for a five hour class and listen to this man ramble on about how much money his son has in his savings and how many cars he has, where he lives and so on, all non essential things and all Unwanted self promotion. Fast forward to my driving lessons I got put with a man who came off as he could care less about teaching, and someone who rarely showed up on time for our appointments.

I was quick to find out I became his errand boy dropping him off to various locations and having me wait in a car while he did whatever he was doing on my lesson times. I got very vague instructions about driving. If you are looking to waste $450 by all means come to this place. I went on to pass my road test all thanks to my practice outside of this school. if I could give this place zero stars I would.

If I could give 0 stars, I seriously would. I had Mr. Vaswani himself as an instructor, bought a package, and did not learn anything. I failed my drivers license test with him. I had him in highschool through my school's driving program. He was good then, and very gentle and nice with us students - but once I graduated and came back for independent lessons, he suddenly became mean and condescending!

On top of that, all he does is talk about himself and his family. Over and over and over again. He is a very pompous man, and he would give me severe anxiety while I was driving. He also talks over me and talks down to me like I'm a damn baby. I remember one time he told me to turn too early, and he blamed me, and while I was turning, he kept on screaming "WHAT ARE YOU DOING, WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" Extremely loud!

Why are you screaming and making me anxious? Not only that, but his scheduling is really bad - after one appointment, he would schedule me a month out and tell me to "practice by myself and then come back". What? I am only saying this because I went to another driving school, only took 3 lessons, and I passed my test with flying colors! I learned SO much more than I ever did. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I got my license today thanks to Elvin. I took my last two lessons and my road test with Vaswami and he was great but the confidence Elvin instilled in me was invaluable. I recommend this school to anyone who needs to learn how to drive.if you don't believe me just check the google reviews they have almost 90 5 star ratings I think that speaks volumes. PS they are instructors not magicians of you've never drive before don't expect to be a Nascar driver after ten lessons.
