Topeka Driving School

We choose Topeka Driving School because our last experience was lacking. WOW! What a difference. From the instruction day to the scheduled driving time, the whole program was excellent. Why? Well my daughter learned so much and was able to talk through many situations easily. Next, our driving instructor was not only great with our driver. But her communication with me on scheduling was consistent and detailed. I knew what the plan was each day and she listened to my hopes for the drive time. Misty was personable and made my daughter feel so comfortable behind the wheel. She made sure to teach her both in town driving, evening driving, one way driving, highway driving, defensive driving, passing semi's, I could go on. Worth every penny in case you are on the fence about what program to choose. We are based in Lawrence and it was no trouble at all getting our times in.

I like this school very much. I don't know how to drive initially. "Kevin" is a good coach for me. Now I'm full confident about my driving. I got my Driver's License quickly.

When I join to Kennedy driving school i have zero experience in driving entrance test. the teacher was excellent to elaborate every question reading rules and regulation. for behind the wheel Kevin was so good instructor. He has lots of patient to teach a beginner. He gives me a good confident to learn driving. Thanks caving

This school was really good. At first I didn't know how to drive. I joined this school with zero experience, but then the driver (Kevin) there was really helpful and he thought me all he could. He was a great driving teacher. He gave me right instructions throughout my drives and in the end I turned out getting my completion certificate. I totally recommend to join this school. If your looking for learning how to drive from no experience it's the one!

Our 3rd son just completed the Kennedy drive right school and it was an outstanding experience from beginning to end. David Ross was his driving instructor and as luck would have it he was the same instructor for both of our other children as well. He is excellent at his job! If you can request an instructor, ask for Mr Ross!

I have had a pleasant experience with in class learning experience and on road learning exercises. I thank Kevin, my driving instructor, for a comprehensive learning experience and helping me with my weak areas to improve upon. I would highly recommend Kennedy drive right school for beginners.

We can't say enough about the Kennedy Drive-Right School. It was a great partnership from our initial call to its office, the day-long session, and its in-person driving instruction; all were handled professionally by the team. We were very happy we didn't need to decipher the state's info on getting permitted and licensed, Kennedy gives you the intel in easy to understand language.

Our driving instructor, Kevin, was great. He was patient and supportive with our student driver. It helps he has kids of his own, he understands how to communicate with them. He also took the time to share each driving lesson with the parents, a relief when you can't plan on your teenager doing this. Thanks, Kennedy Drive-Right School!

Thank you so much. I have nothing but compliments for my son's driving instructor, Kevin. Would suggest you ask for him if possible. The process was very accommodating and the instruction was excellent. When a 15 year old gives it a 10, you know it's good.

Kevin was so awesome! He is calm and patient and made our new 14 year old driver feel at ease. Also was a great teacher of the fundamentals of driving. We are driving with our 14 year old now and blown away at how well he is doing after working with Kevin. Highly recommend!

Critical:Value This place was the biggest waste of money ever. For how much they charge youd think they'd uproot their technology from the 90s and show a little more interest in making the customer feel like they've made a good choice and a beneficial investment. Nope. The parking lot was clean.

Just finished my driving lessons with Mark, who was a great instructor. I felt like the 9-5 in-person class was a bit too long (though very informational), but overall the experience was worth it. I am currently a college student and this was a great way to get in driving hours rather than having to practice and then take a test. I have made my appointment with the DMV and expect to get my license in two weeks! Would recommend for younger high school students!

Our 5th and final child just finished her driving experience at Kennedy's. All have enjoyed it, learned the rules of the road and become comfortable behind the wheel. Our last instructor, Kevin G.,w ho was thorough and nice. Very professional, cautious and organized. Always on time and prepared and used the entire 2 hours of each session for driving time. Will highly recommend Kennedy's to others. Thanks!

Kevin was a great instructor for my son. Very personable yet professional. My son said Kevin made him feel comfortable and confident, and he finally learned the correct way to merge into traffic. Thank you Kevin for a great experience!

Great experience. Both of my teenagers attended and loved learning from Dave! The classroom and driving experiences were extremely productive and essential in helping my kids learn how to drive responsibly! Highly recommend.

I would not recommend taking classes from this school. First off they have you take classroom portion in packed room with little to no ventilation utilizing VCR videos from the 90s. The first driving instructor I had refused to wear a face mask and was emotionally abusive to the point that I had to stop lessons with him and broke down crying. And then I find out that after going through all that as a person with a disability that I can't even receive my certificate of completion because of the restrictions on permit, which was not stated at all on their website or contract I signed.

It's a shame that they are choosing to have dishonest practices during a pandemic for a couple hundred dollars. So please look elsewhere. Update 12/21/20 So the owner's wife Mrs. Kennedy called me to inform me that they will not honor the rest of my contract which is 2 hours of driving because I left a negative review of their services. I was unaware that in Kansas you should fear retaliation for voicing your grievances. This should give you insight on their unprofessional business practices.
