Baldwin Driver Training

My experience here was fantastic! Susan was my instructor and my tester, and she was great at making me feel comfortable in the car while showing me the ropes and preparing me for the realities of the road. I cannot emphasize it enough, she was just so kind and as someone with a lot of anxiety around driving, I couldn't have asked for a better instructor or driving school!

Rude from the get-go, didn't have the patience to explain the package that I hadn't even initially inquired about, and when I asked a question, I was interrupted with a speedy run through, and told "I've been talking to you for 20 years", when the call wasn't even three minutes in. Absolutely pathetic customer service.

As most of my knowledge is second hand, (from my kids) I can only tell you what I've heard and it's all excellent. Both my son and daughter were nervous and a little intimidated getting started with the program. My son trained with Susan 4 years before my daughter and I didn't hesitate on who I was calling when it was her turn. My daughter actually asked to have Susan as her trainer since my son had so many wonderful things to say about his comfort level with her while driving. Both of my children drove confidently from the time they started which has given mom a lot of comfort.

I had just passed my test! My instructor, Mrs. Cheryl (I don't know her last name so forgive me for sounding informal) is a great instructor. She made sure I was comfortable and relaxed, was very patient, and made sure to have a rapport with me. She had helped me correct my mistakes and was always light-hearted. I completely enjoyed my experience at this center and would definitely recommend this for beginner drivers

That review regarding Mrs. Susan's behavior is just false. Just because someone is blunt doesn't make it disrespectful or rude. They want you to pass and want you to do better. That is just blasphemous. How dare you. Shame on you. These three teachers are amazing at what they do. I passed my test and regained confidence. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

I would 100% recommend this program. My driving instructor was Ms. Lesia, and she made me feel comfortable because she was patient with me. I took my test and passed on the first try, and was able to get my license on the same day.

Mitch was an excellent trainer! However, the tester and owner, Susan, was non-professional and hostile with communication during my daughter's driving test. Taking the road exam is nerve racking for any person; probably one of the most stressful tests for a young person. My daughter suffers from anxiety which was explained to her during our phone conversations.

During the exam she yelled at her creating additional stress. According to my daughter, she made several demeaning remarks about her trainer during the testing, making her feel uncomfortable and second guessing what she was taught. In general, no student will be the same or have the same circumstances, but all students regardless of their circumstances should be treated with respect.

At the end of the exam, I was sitting in the parking lot and Susan did not even stop by to communicate with us. Unfortunately, due to severe tremors, as a result of Parkinson's Disease, I have not been able to instruct my daughter for the past 4 years. I am stressing that all circumstances should be treated with respect. If during a test, a student is doing something dangerous, there's a brake petal on the testers side and the right to stop the car.

My recommendation is to call around for other companies before choosing an older one just because they have been in business a while. Pick a company where everyone employed has respect for others.

took my driving test today and just wanted to say this is one of the best experiences I've had people were friendly and made it easy to take the test without being nervous I recommend it

The class was very informative. At first I was like, 8hrs is a lot for a class but I went and saw why. I really learned a lot. Cheryl, my instructor was very nice. She gave me all the necessary tips I needed. She tried her best to keep me calm and comfortable on the road. Thanks Baldwin!

I had an absolutely amazing experience. This driver training school really is the best! They know how to make you feel comfortable and show you what it means to be a safe driver. They also go over anything that bothers you about your driving and help you improve. I've been learning to drive for a while and they made the process of taking my driver test straightforward and positive.

I was able to get my license but this is a review about the way I felt throughout the entire session. I don't write reviews often but this establishment is worth it! My teacher Cheryl was fantastic and I'll never forget her kindness.

Where do I start? Ms. Cheryl is the best driving teacher ever. She was very nice and taught me everything I needed to learn. She made me feel very comfortable behind the wheel. I can't thank her enough because she has taught me how to be a defense drive and how to be safe. If I could give her 1 million stars on her rate I would. I got my license today thanks to Baldwin driving school and especially Ms. Cheryl. Anybody that's need driving lessons I'm referring them to Baldwin driving school and Ms. Cheryl.

Amazing staff and was very easy to schedule! Lessons help me learn a lot! Was a little nervous but that all went away once I talked to Ms. Susan.

The My Driving Instructor was amazing .He really did take his time to explain every detail of new techniques that would better me as a driver Thank you So Much for you have done .

My daughter's experience was very positive. She really enjoyed the instructors and the reality of safe vsu safe driving. Her driving has improved just from the class session. She is more aware of her surrounding. I look forward to the driving sessions. Thank you Bladwin Team.

Straightforward driver training, just what you'd expect for a teenager. She learned the rules of the road, got some confidence behind the wheel, and overall it was a decent experience. According to her, the instructor was very patient and helpful, which is exactly what an anxious student needs. As a parent, though, it was frustrating. Trying to actually schedule in-car time can be a pain in the butt, and it seems clear they don't have any computerized records.

It also seems they file by instructor name and class time, rather than by student, but that's a guess based on what they asked whenever I was trying to schedule things. The price is about the same as any other school in the area -- for my other kids I'm likely to check out other schools and see if their organization is a little more straightforward. (To be specific. I've been waiting a day for a call back once they "find" her records. Kid needs her car time to get her license, come on!)

The best driving instruction/instructors around. Took time to properly teach my daughter who was a little afraid of driving outside of our small town and gave her confidence and skills to be a safe driver.

I'm an instructor for Baldwin Driver Training, so I can only review the school from an employee's perspective. It's a great place to work, and I love what I do. The owner treats me like family, and she allows me to set my own schedule. She's very considerate of my needs as an employee, as well as those of my family and is very fair.

She only hires people who are patient and good with students, so we enjoy a good reputation, especially with high school students and among DMV employees. (Although DMV employees usually can't recommend a particular driving school, per their regulations). My students range from 15 year olds to elderly adults, along with people from all countries. I'll even help you learn to drive with a clutch, but in that case you'll need to provide the vehicle.

For those of you who already drive, please be patient and considerate when you see a drivers' training vehicle.the students are usually nervous enough without rude drivers cutting them off.
