Gary Knepler Driving School

Gary Knepler did a driving evaluation test on my 86 year old mother. Although she did not pass the psych neurological test Gary was the most patient, friendly, funny at times, warm hearted and professional person to do this job. I cannot say enough positive things about how he goes about this process. He made my mother feel comfortable and at ease during the test. He explains everything to you as he goes through the test and never rushes you. He truly has patience of a saint. We were extremely pleased with everything. Thank you Gary!

Howard Knepler help me pass my driving test with flying colors. While I took my driving practices he made sure I felt comfortable behind the wheel and he always has something to talk about to keep you calm while driving. I took my practices over the weekend and then took my road test the following week and passed with no problems, his teachings are fun, entertaining, and educational at the same time, I definitely recommend taking his classes.

Don't come here. I'm sure the original owner is great, but since the son took over there is definitely a loss in professionalism. I paid $280 for a driving test that was cancelled by the school and due to their policy I could not receive a refund, even though they are the ones that cancelled the test. I had to report them to my bank and the State of Connecticut's main DMV office.

They treat their customers like they are an inconvenience. Howard bad mouths other local driving schools and curses frequently, which as a religious person made me feel uncomfortable. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for lessons.

Mr. Knepler was a really great teacher! I've learned so many important things about driving that I never really knew before. He is also really funny and nice, but knows when to be firm when talking about serious topics. I truly believe he is the best instructor.

Today was my 19th birthday and I was scheduled to take my test. The problem was I had to be 18 or younger to take the test at the school. Both Mr. Knepler (Howard), the Driving Inspector Joe Ciotto, and the main man at the DMV HQ helped out to their best ability to let me take my test. The service at this school is impeccable. Amy the accountant made me feel very comfortable while I waited for my test, she told her driving experiences and even cracked some jokes. Karen the secretary is awesome as well, she scheduled my classes the minute I paid and both workers called to remind me of my lessons coming up. Bob my instructor was funny, smart, and very pleasant.

I learned how to drive in a matter of 8 hours and I will recommend them to anyone willing to listen. Kepler Driving School made my birthday the best to remember and my license experience great. I cannot tell them how thankful I am for everything.

This Is by far the best driving school in CT, Maybe even everywhere. Well I started the program a couple of months ago and did my in the class hours and then once I got my permit I did the road hours with the school also. Which was a great idea because I learned a lot more. Now I successfully have my actually license because I also took my license test with them. Thank you Knepler Driving Schools.!

Driving test is very short literally less than a ten minute drive. Plus the thirty hour class really helps you learn everything you need to know before hitting the rode by covering all the aspects of driving from the parts of the car you should know but most of all the safety. Plus they offer practice driving with an instructor from eight hours all the way up to forty hours in total.

Furthermore if you did the 30 hour class sessions and completed all the assignments you get a discount if you want to do practice driving. Just overall a good experience and a great way to make sure you are prepared for life on the road and how to keep your self safe and have all the knowledge of the roads from the laws to advice to make driving easier for you. Such things as how to parallel park and baking into a space tips and strategies.

Howard Knepler (Gary's son) has helped me so much. I did class time with him at my local high school and I then proceeded to take driving lessons with him. When i started, I was an incredibly nervous driver, but Knepler Driving School specializes in nervous drivers and made me feel comfortable while driving. After class time and driving lessons with Knepler Driving School, I feel a lot more comfortable on the road. I am so grateful I took driving lessons with Knepler Driving School!

Garry Knepler Driving School is of some difficultly for the presentation and paper but they are of not great worry due to the fact it's easy, if he didn't incorporate that then you would just listen to people read and occasionally take notes. But that's just the Drug and Alcohol, and safety class at Stratford High School. The more important part would be the instructors.

The teacher you go driving with is well at teaching, it's the least bit hostile environment but more of a relaxed and quiet. The instructor will pick and drop you off almost anywhere with in a reasonable distance. The driving test is not hard, the instructor isn't rude or snappy, you take the test in the school's car so it will be in peak performance.

So there is no worry of failing due to the cars ability or appearance. So if i had the option to not take this course is would still take the course. I had a great experiences and many laughter filled moments that i will probably remember forever. I seriously recommend and looking into the program, its worth it.

I am so happy. Today my son passed his exam at this driving school. He has learning dissabilities and had to work one on one with both Howard and Gary. It took him a year since he cannot learn quickly and I was never charged more money. I feel that this driving school is honestly a blessing to me and my family. I recommend the Gary Knepler Driving School to everyone that I meet.

I am so overjoyed and truly excited that my son was able to accomplish his dream. If you have a child that has special needs or requires extra time, go see Gary. You really will not be sorry. Oh by the way...I drove all the way from Fairfield to their Monroe location and I would do it all over again.
