Nearly 1 in 5 new drivers get into a crash soon after getting their driver's license. Our test reliably gauges the types of critical crash-avoidance skills that a driver may be missing in order to drive safely and independently. You'll get Personalized Feedback to help you focus on your areas for improvement to avoid crashes.
In-Vehicle Training: Proper pre-trip inspection and Basic skills- backing, shifting gears, etc. Vehicle Controls Including: Left and Right Turns, Lane Changes, Curves at Highway Speeds, and Entry and Exit on the Interstate or Controlled Access Highway. Driver Training Services can arrange customized programs for your organization including CDL Prep Training, Defensive Driving Instruction, Accident Review and Preventability and DOT Regulation Compliance.
Pennsylvania law requires teens to be supervised for a minimum of 65 hours behind the wheel before they can test for their license. As the parent, you are going to be the primary supervisor during the learning phase. The relationship between the parents and the driving instructor can be critical for building longterm defensive driving skills in a new teen driver.

Our instructors bring a multitude of knowledge including law enforcement, continuing education, fleet management and safety. We have been serving the area since 1996. Driver Training Services is looking for a few extraordinary individuals who have been searching for challenging but rewarding employment. Background in education, youth leadership or law enforcement is helpful but not required. You provide the people skills; we will provide the training for you to develop the instructor skills.

We were very happy with our experience with DTS. Our behind the wheel instructor, Jeff, was very patient and did a great job with teaching and test prep, and Bill, who conducted my daughter's test, was very kind and helpful in diffusing nerves before hand. The ladies in the office were very helpful, even when we needed to reschedule the test, they were able to get us a new date quickly. Communication was excellent. I would highly recommend DTS.

My son received his drivers license today thanks to the careful and thorough instruction of his instructor Sandy. She was kind, patient and most of all always honest and helpful with her critique of his driving. Very happy with our experience here and would definitely recommend them if you have a teenager behind the wheel. My 16 year old daughter will be going there next!

I had a great experience with AAA Driving Trainer Services. My instructor was efficient and arrived very early before each lesson. In the beginning I had difficulty in parallel parking, but by the end of the course I felt a lot more comfortable doing so. All staff were friendly and professional and I would recommend to anyone.
