This was an alright school. the price is really good compared to most. the trucks are ok to use and not outdated. the only thing is, the practice lot and the test lot is full of gravel and is hard to use especially in winter. maybe consider paving them both. that would be nice! it would make the school shine because it's such a nice place. Dave is a good instructor. YOU WILL LEARN. just put forth the effort. although it took me 5 to pass the road test. im happy with the results. - the big R

Very professional instructors. They will teach you, find out where you struggle and make sure you are 100% in all areas. They will also share real life experiences to help you learn from their experience on the road. If you have the will to learn you will learn a lot at this school. Everyone in the class i was in passed the first try.

DJ the instructor there at Big Rig was great. He Treats everyone the same. he made sure that everyone in the class (6 people) which is a larger class than normal, master all the techniques to be ready for test day. I feel highly confident with what he showed me, that I will pass 100%. he's a straight up guy that won't hold your hand for to long meaning he shows you how to do it and then it's up to you.
After that he will assist you in anyway to correct any issues you are having. That helped me out a lot. This school is where you want to be if you don't have too much time to waste getting a license; having kids, a wife at home, and me - no job. I highly recommend big rig trucking school.

Excellent instructors, they will teach you and let you figure it out. They don't hold your hand every second that's not how you learn. On the pre-trip don't expect them to hold your hand on it. They will help you but you have to want to learn and study the paper and use the pre-trip truck. If you take it seriously and show up you will pass the test.

The instructor was extremely rude, and he wanted the alternator to be inspected, how? Check the belts and the gauge on the dash, he flunked me and my $235.00 (their truck, that didn't move and inch!),30 minutes and you loose your $235.00. What a scam, to the people who do not have $235.00 to through away, stay away from "ATLAS CDL TESTING" in Massillon, Ohio.
