If there was a chance to give 0 stars, I would. I paid $240 for 4 driving lessons. The days came and no one showed up and there was no call prior for any notice. I went over to the building and there was a sign saying they are closed until the beginning of 2022. If I was told sooner, it would be okay but the fact that there was no communication shows this place is okay with stealing money like that.
There's clearly terrible handling of money and horrible organization because I don't understand how they weren't aware of their own schedule. I went to get a refund and they didn't even apologize and just gave me money out of some dudes pocket, makes me wonder how many others have had their money stolen too. Do yourself a favor and go to other driving schools that will actually do what you pay them for.

My son was scheduled for a road test today, 12/16/21 and my son was suppose to use DMDI car for road test. They was suppose to pick him up in the AM. They never showed up or called. On the answer machine they day they open @ 9am. Online it says they open @ 10am. Needless to say, no on is answering the phone and the mailbox is full. How is it that an adult can just disappear and leave my 16 year old to figure it out?

We paid for driving lessons and the first driving lesson was today 2/23/21 at 8am. Needless to say that there was no driver instructor present. I called yesterday during there hours of operation based on what is on the recording but received there answering machine. I left a message confirming the appointment for today. The purpose of me calling in advance was because of the weather and I wanted to confirm if they were planning to reschedule.
I never received a call back so we arrived to the office as scheduled 8am and they were a no show. It's now 11am I placed another call and no one has called us. I will be asking for a refund and hopefully they are professional enough to provide us a refund in cash as we provided cash as a form of payment.

I've already had one lesson with DMDI out of the 6 I paid for. Similar to Ashley Sheehan-Morrow's experience, my first lesson with Mrs. D was not a good experience. She talks very fast and doesn't explain things clearly or in steps which made it very difficult to follow her instructions, and if you didn't do something correctly she would raise her voice somewhat which would just make you more nervous and lost as to how to do the task correctly.
I am currently waiting for my second lesson to start and this time around requested a different instructor. The first time my lesson was scheduled for 11 and Mrs. D didn't show up until 11:15, and this lesson was also scheduled for 11 and it is currently 11:30 and I'm still waiting. I've just received a text that the instructor ran into an issue and is now on her way, but in situations like this I believe that some notice should be given.
I also took the 5-hour class with Mr. D which was probably a bit unconventional but went fairly well, but so far I am not having the greatest experience with DMDI. If I could afford to pay the extra money to take lessons elsewhere, I probably would. EDIT: I just had my lesson with the other instructor (sadly I don't know her name), but the experience of this lesson was MUCH BETTER.
Her criticism was never rude or made me nervous or second-guess myself, it was always constructive. We practiced parallel parking and three-point turns, she wasn't overly talkative which allowed me to focus on driving and the task at hand, she broke down into steps the things I needed to do to accomplish my task, and gave me notes and pointers that were very helpful and that I can keep in mind as I practice driving.
While Mrs. D made me feel very not confident in my driving, this instructor made me eager to get better so I can pass my road test. She also answered all the questions I had and was very patient! She was very late due to a mishap at the office, but made up for it once we started. I look forward to another lesson with her.

I had a great experience with DMDI! Both Mr. D (the instructor for the 5 hour course) and Mrs. D (the driving instructor) were great to work with. They clearly know what they're teaching and their confidence in that is really comforting. They make learning the rules of the road and how to maneuver a vehicle enjoyable and easy and are ready and willing to answer any questions you may have.
I get really nervous when I feel like I'm being watched closely and even tho Mrs D kept a close eye on what I was doing, it was easy for me to stay focused and calm. You can tell Mrs D really cares about and loves her students and wants them to succeed. When you're doing good she encourages you and when you make a mistake she makes sure you know what you did so you can fix it next time. Making appointments was easy with Crystal, she was always nice and easy to communicate with, and being able to make appointments through text was very convenient. I would recommend DMDI to anyone wanting and willing to learn how to be a great driver!(:

Such an amazing organization! The 5 hour course teacher Mr. D was very enjoyable and I was able to understand everything. The receptionist Crystal was very flexible and efficient with reminders and scheduling. Then the driving instructor Mrs. D, was just the absolute best. Her teaching was a nice balance between comfortability and serious teaching. If you need to get your liscence this is the place to get it.

Everyone there was very courteous and willing to accommodate my schedule for when I needed lessons. My instructor, Mrs. D. was very nice, and made me feel comfortable and gave me a good overview of the car and showed me what I needed to know for my road test. She was honest and gave me constructive feedback for what I did right, and the areas that I needed to improve. She was very patient with me and helped my confidence behind the wheel.

Mrs. D as a person is nice, but the whole experience sucked. She'd distract you while driving, talked about personal affairs (normally I don't care, but not while trying to learn something new like driving), yelled at me when I was already nervous about driving, mutter under her breath about how horrible I was doing and claimed it was all to help, but it didn't.
Some days I got so mad at the situation that I'd leave the lesson in angry tears. Made me feel worse and she should try to see what kind of person she's instructing. I do not respond well to belittlement and yelling in my ear and almost got out of the car numerous times and walked away. I tried getting past it because I needed a license but still failed my road test which I will attest that part of it was because I was not ready, but a part of it was that she didn't teach me properly nor did she help get me ready another part of it was because before I took the test Mrs. D and the proctor were talking before I could take the exam and I was pretty much set up to fail from the start with the proctor.
Not entirely sure if that has anything to do with Mrs. D or not, but she should not be having a conversation with the proctors before the testing of a student. The receptionist could improve her communication skills. She takes too long to respond and evades important questions. I asked her multiple times what time my test would be so that I could accommodate for work but failed to receive a proper answer.
The 5 hour instructor has this tone like everyone in her class are idiots either because they're too shy to talk or because they speak a different language. The whole team is lacking in professionalism. It was a major waste of my money and I regret it severely. I can schedule one more road test through them, but I refuse to because I don't see how that's going to help me. -Ashley Sheehan-Morrow
