Services
The Bertil Roos Racing School has been granted full licensing recommendation status for SCCA Competition Licenses. Our school is fully certified as an Authorized Competition Licensing School by the Club Racing Division of the Sports Car Club of America. With this certification, our school can simplify and streamline the often complicated process of becoming a licensed racer.
It doesn't get more real than this! When you enroll in one of our race programs, you'll be strapped into a real 150 hp Formula 2000 race car. When properly driven, our cars will accelerate from 0-60mph in 4.2 seconds, reach 130mph in the draft, pull up to 2g's in the corners, and stop on a dime. The reclined seating position, open cockpit, and Indy-style body work provide you with a unique experience. Your view of the track mimics what the pros see when they are battling it out, head-to-head, on TV.
By making available a relatively small number of seats in our various programs, we ensure each participant receives the maximum amount of individual instruction and track time. For most programs, we maintain an average ratio of one instructor per every three students. The only way you'll receive more track time and one-on-one attention is by hiring your own private coach!

I have had the great pleasure of attending the 3 day program, Dennis and his team are extremely knowledgeable and encourage you to push hard. I had more fun than it should be legal to have and without hesitation recommend Bertil Roos to anyone who wants a genuine driving and learning experience. Great job and thanks

A gift card was purchased for me as a present last August, and due to a job change, a move, and the birth of my son I wasn't able to get the day scheduled. They offer a one year refund policy, and so in June of this year I requested a refund. The short story is that at this point I have sent three detailed emails, all of which have been unanswered.
I have left 3-4 voicemails that also have been unanswered. Probably 5-6 times I did catch somebody on the phone, but the right person was never there. On three separate occasions I have been told my check is in the mail. They are very pleasant over the phone. However, the check still has not arrived. I am reaching out to the BBB and if necessary to lawyers to have this resolved.
I would definitely not recommend dealing with this company. Although their racing instruction may be great (I wouldn't know) they seem untrustworthy, and trust is important with money and with racing cars.
