I want to start and say my first 2 boys went thru and had no problems. Getting licenses 1st time thru. Now problems start with the 3rd which in my opinion is a better driver than the other 2. Rides dirt bikes and snowmobiles and understands better. The school itself is fine but the registry guy from Sturbridge, wish I knew his name. This guy was an ass on the driving test.
Basically failing my son for going too slow as if that is a thing (being safer). I feel it makes the school look bad when you can't pass the 1st time. They need to police these registry guys. They have too much power to fail if they have a hair across their ass. Heard from another girl that 2 of her friends failed earlier in the morning. That isn't right at all.
Now fast forward ahead 15 days and my son passes just fine with a different registry guy. This is just my personal experience which I am sure others have had. I think the state should just give you your license after all the driving and then you have an hour lesson at the end to prove you can drive. What does the 15 minute test prove if the registry guy has a god complex and can fail you (no questions asked) kicked out of car and can't speak for yourself.

I honestly had a better time learning from CMSC than i thought. I went in today expecting a really grim and strict teacher but it wasn't like that at all! I had my first driving lesson with Elias (sorry for the misspelling) and he was amazing. He made me feel really comfortable yet I was able to learn a lot from him which just adds into the lesson.
Then I had my second lesson with Tina and she was also amazing. There were some difficult concepts for me to understand but she explained it beyond perfection. They are both wonderful people and even better instructors. Not to mention that the office workers are also extremely nice. I was talking with Cheyenne and she helped with my scheduling for future lessons and was so nice and understanding. All of these people should get a raise and a promotion without a doubt in my mind.

I am a student at CMSC and my experience so far has been great. I would highly recommend my driving instructor Jahile Rivera. He is very professional, extremely knowledgeable, he builds confidence in me and always encourages me. He communicates very clearly. He has different teaching techniques. Above all being a senior learner he is extremely patient with me and is sensitive and culturally aware. He is all rounded and I would highly recommend Jahile at CMSC.

I had an AWESOME experience at CMSC's driver's ed classes. Going into this course, I had no idea what to expect. I had heard many things, good and bad, about taking driver's ed classes through CMSC, but I have to say- I only had good experiences. My instructor, Denis Coughlin, was extremely helpful, and he taught me everything I needed to know (and more) to prepare me for the test.
He was funny, informative, and taught us what we needed to know in a timely and efficient manner. I HIGHLY recommend taking classes through CMSC, and I had a great time there. Looking forward to taking road classes with them. Two thumbs up!

Kevin was an excellent teacher who managed to engage the entire class while properly teaching the fundamentals of the road. I was so happy with the class I am also planning on requesting my further lessons with Kevin and will be specifically recommending him whenever asked. Kevin managed to give the entire class a memorable experience which I will look back fondly on.

My driving instructor Kevin Bell was amazing. He made it fun and exciting. He used props during class to make important points. I have only had a couple classes with him but I would love to continue working with him as I progress through driving. I highly recommend him for a driving instructor at CMSC.

It is very difficult to book driving lessons. They say they add new lessons every few days. I check all day and don't see this happening. I am very disappointed. It will take months to finish driving lessons. In addition, I tried to get in co race with someone in the office. I waited on hold for over 10 min. I was told that I was #2 in line, only to be connected to leave a message. Again, no one has ever replied to my emails or called me back after I gave my money and payed for lessons. Prior to committing, they called me back right away. Extremely poor customer service.

For the amount of money I am paying I am disappointed. After taking the preliminary class, it is VERY, VERY difficult to book a behind the wheel appointment. Be warned: it is booked out a few months. After this hoop, it takes months to be lucky enough to get an appointment for the driving test. The communication is awful. I have emailed several times and heard nothing back. Not worth it!

Due to Covid and instructor vacancies it was difficult to schedule lessons in your own town. Had to travel to different locations for most. Had over a 3 month wait for road test after his driving lessons were complete. Luckily RMV opened up additional spots, allowing to test earlier. Office staff very helpful and professional when speaking to them directly. Have used CMSC twice now and is good quality driver training school for two kids.

I'm on my 3rd and final child attending CMSC and have had nothing but great experiences each time. Most recently, even though she is dealing with the RMV delays, Caitlyn Cruz has been amazing. Her patience and willingness to help us secure a license test appointment is above and beyond what I would have expected. I don't have any more students, but if I did, I wouldn't hesitate to send them here to learn to drive!

Third child through. First two experiences were great, third not so much. Im very sorry to say this but company has gone down hill since Mr. Cooney retired. Hopefully they can make changes necessary to get back up and there stats back up. My son recently passed test but took almost two years could never get lessons or lessons on our areas at all. Countless hours on phone begging for drive time.
This has a result of no repetition for student and lack of confidence driving. On top of pretty penny, I will have to spend many more hours of drive time with him. Lastly, report cards are very inconsistent from instructors leaving you worried about where your child skills mad needs are.

My three children went through CMSC. They were accommodating with getting other district kids in the same classes for drivers Ed. We didn't have any problems getting drive times. My kids would check themselves if any openings popped up. All the three had their driving test moved up due to availability & that was communicated to us. My last child had instructor Raza & said he was the best. He was very helpful & went above to ensure all went well with the test.

Vinny was very informative during my daughter's mock driving test (last appt. in the series). Mostly good experience in the series except with Jim Colonies who had a verbally hostle and intimidating attitude (daughter in tears), grabbed the driver controls! Paid no attention to pandemic safety protocols: no mask! No sanitizing the car! No temp check! This man should not be allowed to continue without a major attitude and safety improvement.

I recommend this school to all my friends! They are the best! And I know because I had a horrible experience at Donaghue school in Hudson. I transferred to CMSC and my only regret is that I didn't work with them from the start! All the CMSC drivers are experienced and kind. My twins truly enjoyed the experience and have become fabulous drivers. They just passed their test and I am confident with them on the road!

CMSC is the best driving school. They have helped so much to help me prepare for my road test. If you needed to work on anything, they would ensure you knew exactly how to do it by the end of a lesson. They are all very experienced and easy to talk to. I appreciate everyone there. They helped me become a great driver.

Let me say, I had Mike as my Motorcycle instructor. And as hard as he was, I learned the skills required to ride. I have NEVER rode a motorcycle. I didn't know the controls on one EITHER. And today I am officially LICENSED. He makes sure you understand the safety and rules when riding, and what to expect as a rider. Thank you Mike and Matt, I will definitely be recommending my friends and family. Mike and Matt were the Instructors for this class. Thank you for all that you both do.

These folks are phenomenal! I had to retrain to drive with adaptive hand controls after i was no longer able to drive in conventional way. Living in a state where no Rehab driving training exists I found CMSC a few months ago. Starting Lessons, scheduling times were a bit challenge due to COVID but moved right along once underway. My driving trainer Kristen was amazing. After about 12 hrs retraining I was able to successfully pass DMV road test earlier this week! FANTASTIC experience, highly recommend

I have completed driver's education with CMSC this past summer and have completed my road lessons. I have absolutely no complains on any of the instructors I had, appointment booking was reasonable for me. I suffer from terrible anxiety and I appreciate how each instructor was very understanding and easy going. I have passed my road test Thursday which I did at CMSC and all I can say now is how appreciated I am for this journey. I chose the best, reliable company, and you should too!

Please for the love of god look elsewhere. I took my drivers ed here because my friends went here- worst mistake ever. The amount they charge is absolutely ridiculous. It is IMPOSSIBLE to schedule a road lesson unless you call the front desk 50 times a day demanding to speak to the person in charge. Better yet- when they have road lessons up they're over an hour away, never will come to your house, and during work hours.
If you have to cancel for an emergency they use it as a way to make money and charge you $25. The instructors are a very mixed bag. On my second road lesson I got pulled over by a state trooper because the instructor told me to not move over a lane for a cop in the breakdown lane with his lights on- I got a written warning before I even had my license, instructor got a ticket.
When getting your road test, they make you wait a whole month after you finished your drive times. I just packed my bags and went to the DMV and got my license the day after I finished my drive times. Please save your money and go to Alert, you'll be getting the same if not better education and instruction.

I paid in full December 2019, he started the class in January. Taking the class was not an issue. It's August and I've only been able to schedule 6 lessons since the classroom. Even attempting to go elsewhere I have had no luck. My daughter is next but I'm wondering if I should look elsewhere. It's tough to get a time slot. Especially now with the COVID-19 regulations. Can't wait to see what scheduling the driving test is gonna be like.

The classroom and parent class were acceptable. However, it's next to impossible to schedule on road lessons. No guarantee you will get road time in your school or town. You basically need to stalk their website on a daily basis to find a time that is convenient. It's a first come, first serve basis. My son took the course in April, and nine months later, he still hasn't completed the road lessons! Nearly impossible if your child plays sports or works. Don't bother trying to email them thru their website, they won't answer you.

Beware of this program. We are highly unimpressed. My son told me the course was boring and the instructor was extremely sexist against women, mentioning how terrible female drivers are and other comments. Furthermore, it's close to impossible to sign up for your driving and observation times, booking out months in advance or in locations far from your home.
The website is not user friendly nor do they respond to emails. Terrible company. I spent close to 1k on this program and my son is unable to get driving and observation times in.

The driving lessons are great, but extremely difficult to schedule. Almost immediately after the times are opened up for the month, most get booked up! Their website suggests that if you can't get a location near you, try one of their many other locations. Unfortunately, the two or three other locations that seem to have some very limited availability are quite far (an hour or so away) or are on weekday times during the school day.

It's really hard to give a good review when you've only been able to take one road lesson. We've been trying to schedule more but the woman that does the scheduling never answers her phone or returns voice messages. Going on 2 weeks of calling multiple times a day and leaving at least one message daily.

I've had severe driving anxiety since I first attempted to learn to drive. Now I'm nearly 20 years old and am nearly done with my driving lessons at CMSC. CMSC has been outstandingly patient, understanding, and thorough teachers. I have never once felt judged for being older than the average student, and my driving skills have exponentially improved. I'm set to take my license exam in August, and I'm confident that CMSC has taught me well enough to pass with flying colors!

Disappointing! For the kind of money they charge, you think that they would offer something better than what you end up getting. When my daughter was finished with everything, she took the so-called advanced driver training which was a farce! Really just a 5-minute skid lesson, definitely some major corners being cut there. Then we were told that they would be a 3-month wait to get into a road test, which I find absolutely ridiculous. We are now in the process of trying to find another way to get a license for Kaitlyn, and not very happy about having to go through this.

Been there many times for road lessons and road tests. I had been with 2 teachers. Both of them were friendly, trustsome, honest, direct and knowledgable. They taught things in an easy manner. For example, they asked you to turn the steering wheel all the way to one side before moving your car in parallel parking and 3-point turn while other driving school may told you to roll the car while turning just to save the tires.
They actually focus on teaching you how to drive rather than pass the test. In the first road test, my first teacher stressed me out during one-hour warmup as he thought I left too much space away from the curb when parking along the curb. He told me that rmv examers would fail me one million times if I parked like that. In fact, the examer did not even mention about this problem but I was stressed out and forgot other things. Hence, failed the test.
My second teacher, Bill was way better in turn of emotional management. He was so calm and patient like a monk. He gave lots of encouragement and we also drove to highway and busy downtown even though he knew our road test would be there (the road test happened in the route near the school). I felt like I knew new things each time even though I am ready for road test for a while and felt more confident.
He would told me honestly if he felt like I did not need to come for lessons any more if my skill was ready. One downside I can think of is that I had to call them and usually left a message for road lessons appointment, and then they will call you back within next business day. I usually had to wait a few weeks for lessons. Also, I had to take at least one more lesson before I could re-take a road test and they normally had one or two road test per month near their school.
All of those made the process long especially for people to book their own road test in rmv but just to want they to sponsor a car and a teacher. The other issue was that they used Nissan Sentra which is a bit harder to maneuver than some of compact cars especially during the parallel parking.

I can't understand the negative reviews: we had nothing but a great experience. The instructors were helpful and the place was super organized. On Sundays I went online and could choose almost any day of the week for a 2-4 ( right after school) lesson. The skid school was great- and included in the price. A competitor charges extra. The RMV was running late on the day of my son's exam- could have been for any number of reasons- but I watched while every person happily emerged from the vehicle with their license!

My son took 14 classes and was not much better at the end than in the beginning. He did not get his licensee after the lessons. We went there because he has learning disabilities and we were told they specialized in this. At the end we were told by the owner they were not any different with the special needs population. Had I know this I would not have driven from my town where there is a driving school 40 minutes for specially trained instructors when actually were not after all.

Overall a poor performance. It started off with a boring driving school teacher who was clearly there just to make money. I then had to do 12 hours of driving in the same car which offered little variety in the long run. I then participated in there skid school which was enjoyable and highly recommended even though I feel I would never need it. When It came to my driving lesson they put me in a car I have never driven and I immediately asked where the emergency brake was considering I had never seen one like that in my life and they had never taught me about it.
They said they are not allowed to answer that question as I should know. How would I be able to know that providing that the you the people who were supposed to teach me failed. There is also a 3 strike policy in the state of Massachusetts. I was given one. I failed because I could not locate the emergent brake. They then taught me after and the officer in the seat next to me complained I was mumbling even though she knew I was saying clearly that I did not know where the e brake was. All in all I recommend this driving school only if you are low on cash and already know everything about vehicles because I can guarantee they will teach you nothing

I can't thank the team that helped my daughter get her license at the CMDSC. They bent over backwards making acomadations to meet our needs. I also feel the emphasis on truly teaching the students the value of safety will have a lasting affect. The entire staff rooted for my daughter.i highly recommend anyone to research there choice for driving school for their child.

I took driver education through the CMSC and have zero complaints regarding my experience. The instructors here are knowledgeable and kind. Scheduling lessons is a cinch using their online system, Schedule 2 Drive. The classrooms are clean and organized, and all of the cars are kept in meticulous shape. I put off getting my license for years due to an irrationally strong fear of driving.
The people here were more than willing to work with me until I got the experience I needed to pass my driving test, which I did on my first try. Brad H. is a phenomenal instructor; he's friendly, funny, and a wonderful coach. I highly recommend this driving school!

Both my sons (twins) went through this program and though the office staff was pleasant the rest of the teachers were not, and what an awful experience! Both my sons said they learned more from me than the 12 hours of driving with the "professional" instructor. They took 20 min breaks during lessons and the teacher told them it was fine, "they are good enough to pass a road test." Not sure what I was paying for (not to mention they nickel and dime.) Not sure what I would do if I had to do it again. Would not recommend this program.
