Lyons Driving Academy has earned a reputation for responsible and caring driving instruction in Sonoma County. We are a family owned business that is active in our community. Our instructors are experienced, patient, and fully licensed by the State of California. Our classroom instructor, Dennis Lyons is a fully credentialed High School Teacher with 30 years teaching experience. We offer a complete driving curriculum with both classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction, both teens and adults are welcome!

Had two kids recently go through Lyons Driving program. Both did really well felt comfortable in classes and behind the wheel. Both passed their Permit and drivers license tests on the first try. Getting ready to enroll my third teenage driver.

My son tried the online classes and just couldn't get thru them. I was pleasantly surprised with how engaged my son was in the class and the behind the wheel driving instruction. Highly recommend. Worked out great for my teenager and will go again when my next is ready.

Mr. Lyons is the best not only he teaches us how to drive is that he is funny and he is $100 dollars for the classroom and $135 for the private 2 hour behind the wheel training. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him

Our oldest daughter took driving lessons from Mr. Lyons in 2016. She enjoy her experience and couldn't say enough good things about his teaching style. She gained more confidence with each driving session. We now have our second child ready to take lessons and we will definitely be using Lyons Driving Academy. I would highly recommend this company.

I paid 135.00 for what I was told 2 hours of behind the wheel training. My son went out the first two times for a hour and half the third was a hour and 20 minutes. When I asked about it he told me they only go for a hour and 45 which we didn't even get that. Should have gotten a refund, but my son didn't want me to cause a scene. On top of that the guy is super weird, my son never felt comfortable around him. The first thing he said to my son was "you need to gain some weight". So rude. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
