Services
Five Star proudly boasts combined over 75 years of experienced drivers working with students! We offer the most experienced and knowledgeable team to meet all of your driver's education needs. All of our instructors are educators who care about students and have career experience working with teenagers.
This Package includes 30 (required) hours of face-to-face in our classroom and 6 hours (required) of behind-the-wheel training with our instructors PLUS the driving test. Our classroom sessions utilize the AAA text books and include discussion-based learning, videos, presentations and supervised quizzes/tests.
Register for and complete our Online Course and receive a free one year basic AAA Membership. Lists what forms of identification and proof of residency are required for obtaining a Learner's Permit. This is NOT the CDE (cert. of driver's ed) form, that must be picked up at Five Star. This is the printable version of the contract for online coursework.

I paid several $100 here in the summer of 2016 when I was 18 to get my license because my biological parents would not teach me and the BMV said the only other legal way to do it was to marry someone over the age of 25 and have them do it or pay a certified driving instructor. I chose the latter. 5 Star was amazing and understanding with me and my situation and really equipped me with the knowledge I needed to be road safe.
To this day I've never been in an accident outside of being hit by a semi in a hit and run accident. (not my fault.) I had a lot of road anxiety and Mr. Tinder had a lot of patience with me, was very calm and informative during our lessons. The driving test was very easy thanks to the great driving instruction I received. The parallel parking part of the test was even a breeze! I will never forget the positive impact this place had on me and I highly recommend them!
