The level of instruction is demanding, but all families and roadway users in Texas deserve the peace of mind that comes with knowing that new drivers are being taught by well trained and well prepared instructors.
Houston Driving School offers a variety of courses and options for teen students. We make it easy to get your driver license, pass the DPS tests, and you can learn online, in our classrooms, or with parent instructor! All of our teen driving programs are built to the very highest standard and have been TDLR approved!
14hr of Behind-The-Wheel driving with a certified instructor. This program is designed for students that have already completed their 32hr class. Whether they completed it with another driving school, online, parent-taught, or in their local high school, they can transfer to complete driving hours with Houston Driving School.
We also offer pre-test preparation. Our certified instructors will spend time with you and help you to properly prepare for the test. We have found that this greatly increases the driver's score, and we have an almost 100% PERFECT passing rate! If you choose to use your own vehicle for the DPS road test, you must come to our Hillcroft - Houston Driving center at: 3201 Hillcroft St. Ste.

This is a great location, it is clean and follows COVID protocol. I took the class and I completed all 3 of my lessons with the instructor Ms. Guadalupe. She is an excellent instructor. She is very calm, understanding, knowledgeable of the manual, great communicator and very passionate about her work. I would highly recommend her to anyone that will take driving lessons.

I bought these driving lessons for my wife who knows nothing of driving. The instructor failed to explain how to use the mirrors, turn signals, and how to keep correct position in the lane. At one point he gave her instructions to break the law at a stop sign. The first day, the pickup was 22 minutes late and ended the lesson 5 minutes early. The second day, pickup was 10 minutes late and ended the lesson 5 minutes late.
So far, we've been short changed 32 minutes of driving time. We do not recommend purchasing driving lessons from this school. I'm willing to reconsider my opinion depending on the schools customer support. Update: We asked to cancel our current lessons to reschedule with another instructor. They required a $35 fee for the change, paid in cash, in the office. (My wife says if you notify them 24hrs in advance the fee is waved.) Paying the fee is not very easy to do for anyone with a day job. We were successful in changing instructors after jumping through these flaming hoops.

A had a great experience with them. Their car, so smooth and comfortable, their instructors are excellent teachers and very nice too especially Mr Lev, he teaches to the point of comfort and accuracy. I passed my test at once, I highly recommend this school for anybody looking for a place to have good driving lessons.

Well as a parent, they did everything I thought needed to be done very well. The questions I had were promptly answered. And when we had to do a change in the class schedule, they accommodated me. My son seems to think the driving part is good and I can tell you they are doing a better job than I could have. I say this after trying to do it myself with the first kid.

Paid for a 2 hour driving test and paid to use their car for the DPS road test. everything was professional and they even sends you reminders letting you know that your appointment is coming up. man I would recommend this school to anyone that does not have a car for the road test or if you want extra pointers before your test.

The school sent a car that stopped in the middle of the busy road. Luckily, I was not hit by the car behind. The gas pedal was not working. The school did not even apologize for the interruption of the session due to the malfunction of the car. Instead, they said that it happened in the past and there is nothing to complain about. Do not take any class with this school if you do not want to be dead.
