Cypress Driving School

Cypress driving school is awesome as they do such a great job teaching the correct driving techniques and rules. The teachers are fantastic and make the lessons more engaging and interesting. Overall this has been a great way to kick off my diving experience!

I was a student at this driving school in 2017, I do NOT recommend this place at all! The classes themselves were alright but the actual behind-the-wheel lessons were awful. One instructor I had was openly misogynistic towards me and my classmate and made racist statements about Hispanic and Asian people to us. During another lesson I had to drive an old Saturn vehicle that had brakes that were barely functional, in fact the instructor had to use his brake just to get the car to stop and I was pressing all the way down! I have since developed an intense fear of driving as a result of what this school put me through so I cannot recommend it to anyone!

3rd child to use Cypress Driving School. Considered others but chose to come back because of the class options and convenience and quality instructors.

The teacher and people here are really nice (and have a dark sense of humor, which I love lol). Definitely recommend this place to your teenagers

Jany is the best instructor I've had so far very calm, nice good at her job so if anyone has her for an instructor just know you got the best of the best

The online program was easy to navigate and my son completed it with ease. The cost for the driving lessons was also significantly higher than other local driving schools. Scheduling driving lessons and driving test was difficult so we went with another company for that. Recently, I reached out to Coach Adams while we were at the DPS office trying to get my son's license.

The interaction was not helpful at all. Instead of focusing on my question and helping me, he was concerned about promoting his business. Additionally, I was questioned about what specific DPS office I was at because Coach Adams apparently thought I was lying. During this conversation, while I was clearly stressed, he also proceeded to tell me to tell all my friends that they were the only school in Cypress who knew how to handle the DPS paperwork.

I was told to "tell all my friends". I will tell them but it will not be that. I will tell them that the DPS office in Brenham was fantastic and my son walked away with his license. My son took driving lessons as well as his road test in Cypress with another Cypress driving school, SafeKeys, which was significantly less expensive. We drove to Brenham to get his license as they had an appointment on Monday morning.

The personnel at the Brenham office were fantastic! We received superior customer service. My decision to drive to Brenham is my prerogative and has absolutely nothing to do with the prices I paid in Cypress nor the service I received from Coach Adams on Monday.

Everything was Fast and easy My instructor was great the road test was easy too. Better than going to take it at the DPS and waiting 6 weeks or more for an appointment this was fast I made the appointment on a Tuesday for the same week on Friday.

Classes were good with my child, I've had 3 of my kids go through this school and have never had any problems. Scheduling drive times wasn't hard at all, Coach Adams guarantees everyone a drive time as long as you get in contact with him he always managed to get my kids a drive time despite their busy schedule

The owner Jeff is rude, unprofessional, and clearly cares nothing about follow up w parents and kids. We paid our money completed course and NO AVAILABLE drive times. He recently sold Cypress Driving School location in Copperfield and did not communicate with students or parents the process of what's next. ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS TAKING YOUR MONEY for the class but makes it very hard to complete the remainder part of the 7hr drive time. Beware take your son or daughter somewhere that treat this concern with importance. He is obnoxious and talks over you with a demeaning attitude. If my son was not already in the completion part of this school O would not even deal with them AT ALL.

Two years ago I let my eldest daughter attend driver's ed at the Hwy 6 location. Against my better judgement and previous experience with Cypress Driving School I let my youngest daughter start classes thinking it would be different. No such luck. It's only day three and the problems started arising on day one. On the parent meeting night a few of us parent walked in on Jane talking very harshly to our children.

By no means am I saying not to be stern, driving is serious. Nonetheless, I didn't pay for my child to be spoken to rudely. We came to a business for our children to be taught how to drive. Instructors should act accordingly and be held accountable. Us parents had to sit through a speech of Jane telling us about how one of her students got caught leaving school to be with her boyfriend instead of going to class.

We also sat through Jane and one of the other instructors bickering back and forward with one another because Coach Adams kept calling and texting while Jane was trying to speak to us. At one point Jane even told the other guy that he and Coach Adams were getting on her nerves. Totally unprofessional! Also, parents by all means if you have a coupon, hand it to Jane before she swipes your card.

My coupon was literally outside in my car and she wouldn't honor it or void the transaction. All of this to say, if I'm going to pay top dollar and my child be threatened to pay money for every little thing (being late $5 per minute, loosing permit or any other little thing) then Cypress Driving School ALL of you need to be up to par. There's always room for improvement and you all need to start with Jane. It costs ZERO dollars to be polite. It's not what you say, it's how you say it. As of today, I'm a very dissatisfied customer. AGAIN.

Coach Adams is the best. Very casual guy and very easy to work with. He has a systematic process to give road test which is quick and efficient. Excellent communication! My daughter passed her driving test in first attempt and was not nervous all. He is opening a new driving school in Magnolia and am sure he will do very well helping kids to learn driving quickly. Highly recommended!

The folks at Cypress Driving School were fantastic for us. My daughter felt very comfortable and they made the process go as smoothly as possible. I would highly recommend them. Also help you figure out the DPS process. We went to the Fry Road location. Many thanks to Coach Adams and his team.

Great school! All 3 of my kids went to Cypress Driving School at the Fry Rd location starting in 2009 with the first one and the last one finishing in 2017. Our experience was always positive. Coach Adams was always accessible to ask questions or to help if needed. He went over and beyond to make sure we always had drive times that worked with our schedule. Cannot say enough about how great this school is!
