Ann Arbor Driving School

I had two days of driving practice with Suhail and he was really great! Really calm and clear instructions 10/10 recommend. I passed my driving test perfectly the next day.

I was a student at this school in the summer. The older instructor was very unprofessional, he cut his nails in the car, he also vaped with the windows down with 2 MINORS in the car. He would push the brake hard as I eased on the brake and he would then tell me to stop slamming the break. Overall very unprofessional, the instructor of the classroom did very well though.

Younger son in this family business teaches driving and is extremely rude, short- tempered, and doesn't value time and money. He used to be ALWAYS late to the driving lesson by at least 10mins, wouldn't make up for the lost time and would still charge full money. It's $60 an hour so that's at least $10. Was extremely short tempered and rude during last session when teaching parking.

Only reason I went there was because I was in a hurry to get a driving license, this was close to where I lived, and didn't have time to check out other driving schools. Please don't make this mistake, save yourself and go to a different driving school.

I would highly recommend their services. I took classes with Dean - a thorough gentleman! Not only does his long experience speak for itself, his calm demeanor and excellent communication skills also put you to ease from the moment you sit on the driving seat. Simon took my road test; he explained the instructions of the test very well and was extremely polite throughout.

The parking lot that you test in feels a little cramped and the first time I took the test it was busy, not sure who my tester was but they didn't communicate with me much and I was using a bigger vehicle. However my second attempt with them was much much better. I had Simon as my examiner and he was really low stress and helpful. I rented their car for the second attempt and had much less trouble with the parking portion. My gratitude goes to Simon though, he was awesome.

My proctor talked to me during the drive to help ease my nerves which I appreciated a lot. She just really made sure I was comfortable and gave me time to gather myself in the rented new car. Definitely would recommend, especially for nervous people. It'll be fine

It is a very helpful and professional place to have a driving lesson and road test! I had a two hours driving refresher lesson with Suhail. He helps me familiar with the traffic rule of the United States and built my confidence for the road test. And Simon is a very professional examiner. He is also super nice and makes me feel comfortable and relax during the test. Finally, I passed the road test. Thank you guys for such fantastic service! I will defiantly recommend Ann Arbor driving school for the driving lesson and road test. Nice job!

I highly recommend taking adult driving lessons and the road test through Ann Arbor Driving School. As an adult driver with limited experience on the road, I was incredibly anxious about taking lessons but Suhail's patience and calm demeanor helped me quicklybecome comfortable and confident behind the wheel. Any anxieties or specific issues I encounteredwere met with sincere kindness, clear suggestions, and a genuine desire to help me improve. Flexible lesson scheduling options and being able to use the school's vehicles for the lessons and the road test are an added bonus. Thank you for a great experience!

My son took driving lessons here, including a couple extra private lessons, and also his driving test. They were very good instructors, accommodating and professional. My son is on the autism spectrum and they were very patient with him. Suhail and Simon were great. The driving test instructor was good and calm with him too. I definitely recommend them.

I had my driving test today with Ann Arbor Driving School and I really liked the overall experience. I was naturally a bit anxious at the start; it was raining too today which added to the overall anxiety. But the examiner's calm attitude along with some of his very helpful suggestions during the drive quickly helped me regain the usual confidence I have had lately during my learning. I would definitely recommend them.
