Aloha Driving School

I never thought I would have to attend such an environment when it came to driving schools. My first issue in this review is with the staff, it felt like I had training wheels on in my second lesson. I wasn't even able to control the gas? After I had driven for 50 hours. Beyond this, which is only a minor flaw, the ownership are incredibly rude. They have insulted both me and my driving when I asked for a speedy appointment (which they had guaranteed on the phone), I mean I thought I was losing my mind. A fully grown adult was going to insult a kid? For asking if he could get another lesson? Absolute and udder childishness.

I loved ALOHA when I went here! I believe my driving instructor was the owner of this school and my experience was great! I have now been a licensed driver for about 2 years now. This is a great school for your teenager needing those driving hours to complete their permit :

Have had a great experience with Aloha. The classroom experience was great! My daughter had a good time and learned a lot! Her first behind the wheel lesson was scheduled quickly and also went very well! We are looking forward to lesson number two.

Karen and team did a great job getting my daughter ready for the road. She felt comfortable with the lessons and supported by the team at Aloha. I'll definitely use them in the future for my other kids.

Very professional and accommodating. My kids went through Aloha driving school and loved it! The quality of instruction has remained consistently high. My son attended driving school 4 years ago and my daughter completed her program at the end of February. Karen is a kind thoughtful instructor who uses praise and understanding along with patience. My kids trust her and had a really good experience. We have one more child who will be going to this school in a few years. We are lucky to have this business in our town.

It's a really great experience, I feel incredibly informed and ready for my permit test! It's a very safe and welcoming environment too, you don't feel stressed at all. 10/10 would reccomend.

I had a great in class experience and was more than informed for the permit test! They were quick to schedule my dates for the behind the wheel program as well.

The classroom experience is fine. However, the behind the wheel instruction is lacking. The instructor was 10 minutes late. Also the instructor did not want to hear anything I had to say.

My son, and my friend's daughter attended this and both felt is was very helpful and prepared them well.

It's been a couple of days since I called and nobody call back. Alrighty. I'm assuming you have sooo many bookings that you dont have the common business etiquette to return call as you promise in your VM greeting.

One of the instructors is rude and does not know how to drive herself. Would not recomend this one.

My son took his drivers education at aloha and loved it. He especially wants to praise Karen for her excellent teaching abilities. He is looking forward to his behind the wheel instruction.

This company was easy to deal with, and they were prompt. My daughter loved her instructor, and she passed her test. Well worth the money. Guardian Driving School in Livermore never called me back after leaving them 2 messages. So. my recommendations go to Aloha!

Absolutely love the Aloha driving school. The teachers are very kind and work with the students to better understand information. They make sure students are 100% ready for the permit test and driving lessons.

All three of my daughters have gone through Aloha Driving School. Karen is so kind and accommodating. My girls were very well prepared for their test! Thank you Aloha!

They don't take calls even during their business hours or respond to voicemails even after days. Not sure how they got the nicer reviews. Edit: Once you get in touch with them, they are wonderful. Karen is an extremely patient and great teacher

Karen is amazing! She went above and beyond in helping me. I called her to inquire about driving school as I recently received a ticket. She doesn't offer this service yet (she said she will in the future), but she has a link to an online school on her website. She graciously guided me to it. I accidentally clicked on the wrong link and completed the wrong program on her website.

It was completely my fault. Despite that, when I reached out to her, she not only redirected me to the right site but also offered to refund my money for the class I completed in error. She is an amazing person who exhibits great customer service which I feel can be hard to come by nowadays.

I highly recommend Karen and her crew at Aloha! The very first time I met Karen when my son took his first class, she was so nice and grateful for us picking her school. There are many choices in town but Karen is someone who constantly thanks you for your business and is grateful for her customers. My son was more than well prepared and Karen made his behind the wheels comfortable and gave him the confidence he needed. You won't go wrong picking Aloha! I was very impressed with Aloha Driving School. They did a wonderful job with my son on the 6hrs of behind the wheel training. Karen Murray the owner has a well run operation. I highly recommend this for your children.

This is my second rave review for Aloha Driving School. Our daughter went through Aloha about 5 years ago and this time it was our son's turn to get his license. I can honestly say: I would never consider going through any other driving school. Aloha provides students with everything they need to successfully complete their driving education and if the student follows Aloha's instructions, I must believe the outcome will be success!

Our son has a different learning style from our daughter and it made no difference. The Aloha instructor was patient, positive, thorough and provided him with all the information needed for him to get his permit, first time taking that test, and his license, first try! Seriously, don't even consider another driving school - Aloha is the real deal.

Thank you Aloha. Another one of our kids has passed their driving test! We really appreciated taking her to the Tracy DMV so that she could do a test run at the office she was scheduled to take her behind the wheel test at. Really a great service. You were always great about reminders as well as being flexible with appointment changes. See you in six years for kid number #4!

Aloha, you made it FUN for our kids! They could not wait to wake up and go to class the next day, AND my daughter got only two wrong out of 46 on the permit test. Only 30% of kids pass their written test the first time that take an online-only class. A whopping 98% of kids pass their first time after taking ALOHA! My daughter and her friends are pumped full of knowledge, which is giving them the confidence they need to become good, safe drivers.

I have already texted all my friends that were considering doing an online course instead. I say, pay the extra few dollars because your child's precious life is definitely worth a couple extra dollars! If they take Aloha classes they will not only learn the info, they will retain it for a lifetime. :

THE BEST DRIVING SCHOOL! I took the online drivers education (to get my learners permit) and then the behind the wheel education (before getting my license). My driving teacher was sooo patient, nice, and fun and she explained everything in a "teen-friendly" way! She really made learning to drive a blast, and I passed my license test on the first try :-) I would recommend this driving school to ANYONE! They offer drivers ed both in class or online, and they also do behind the wheel training.
