Our students pass their CDL road test the first time at a higher percentage than other truck driving schools in the area and we have the statistic to prove it!. We believe in our students. It is our experience that anyone with the desire and commitment can succeed, provided they are given the proper support and guidance.
Interstate Truck Driving School has partnered with Climb Credit to provide our students with a very helpful financing option. We have worked with Climb for several years and their system is very easy to use with a simple on-line application process. Climb will finance the balance. Also keep in mind, several of the trucking companies that hire our students provide tuition reimbursement that will frequently cover the monthly payments to climb. We cannot hold a start date for you until you have registered.
The challenge of operating a good business that truly serves the public is to find good employees. Bill Collins, the owner of Interstate, works very hard to find the best instructors possible. Most of our instructors are former students or former state CDL road test examiners. Our office staff are hand picked by Bill to provide nothing short of excellent customer service.
We are very proud of our school campus in South St. Paul. We spare no expense in providing a comfortable, safe, and up to date training facility for our students. We hope you can stop by for a tour and see for yourself what we have to offer. We are available six days per week from 7AM to 5PM during the week and 8AM to 3PM on Fridays and Saturdays. Although I got threw the whole class I had my ups and downs with the course, mainly with a lot of delays and a lot of waiting I wanted to get in and finish as soon as possible but delay and delay later I got it 2 1/2 months later I finally get it plus the instructors do know how to train people very good.when they are around that is

I came into this truck driving school program with no background of trucking, and let alone knowing how to operate a truck/ semi that is. I completed the program in about six weeks of repetition/practicing and showing up to the school to study. There's nothing like hands on and actually seeing and practicing/pre trip on a real truck. I know you hear hard work will pay off, it's true but seriously you have to come into this program with a mind set of I can attitude. Tips from me to you study your pre trip like seriously pre-trip is everything and you will have to learn this let alone you need to know this material in everyday life of trucking.
You need to memorize your pre trip to even operate a tractor trailer with any company regardless. So you guys/ gals are wondering was it worth it, the answer is yes every cent. This facility has wonderful instructors through out the place. Also, great people to help you soon as you walk in those doors Clint/or Josh are so funny and most of all everyone there wants to see you graduate with your CDL class A license. Thank you guys for the wonderful experience and learning that I gain, I'm so grateful.

If you aren't a corporate student client they will sidetrack your training hours and you will wait for months to get enough instructor led training. It can be 2-3 months before you get into the driver's seat of a tractor trunk on the road. They have too many students and the feedback is internal within the school and you are not given adequate feedback.
You could spend your 100 hours on their campuses and never get into the driver seat of a class A truck therefore its only the pretrip inspection you can study independently. 120 students on either of their campuses and 5 instructors, 5 trucks. Over the last 2 years I have met dozens of students from Interstate that never got into a truck seat to learn let alone take the road test.

The interstate truck driving school has great instructors and management personnel, and I learned a lot from them. Before I start going to this school, I looked around checking the school's customer ratings and I thought, this is what I was looking for and when started they exceeded my expectations. Just Graduated from Interatate and I gotta say this place is pretty outstanding. The whole academy here is great they have all the materials you need to learn, everything is organized, clean, and ever improving. The experience and training was beyond excellent, totally hands on, professional and straight forward. The instructors are very informative and provide a comfortable environment to learn.
Bill Collins knows the industry like the back of his hand and wants to make make sure you do too. 5 stars doesn't even begin to describe my experience here. Recommend it to anyone that's wanting to go into a trucking career or simply looking to refresh. All you need to do is show up and pay attention you'll pass with flying colors. Interstate truck driving school has been one of my best decisions I've made. I did my homework, I checked several schools in Minnesota. Interstate stood out well above the rest! It is designed with your progression in mind. They are very organized and keep you moving forward to make it easy for you to learn. The curriculum is well designed as well as the lay out of the entire school.
