Parent Taught Drivers Ed simply means teens take the classroom phase of drivers ed with Aceable and complete the in-car training phase with a parent. Go mom and dad! Students ages 14-17 with a parent or guardian who have their license. Parents/guardians are ineligible if they've had their license revoked in last three years or more than six points on their record. After six hours of fun, you'll be ready to take the permit test! Adult Road Test for ages 18 and older may now take Texas Department of Public Safety Road Test exam at Drive Safe Driving School located in Irving, Texas. Drive Safe is a Third Party Skills Testing (TPST) authorized school. Be 18-24 years of age, have completed the adult driver education course in its entirety and have a Pictured restricted driver license (Learners License) and completed the Impact Texas Young Drivers (ITYD) program.
No matter where you live in Texas or took drivers ed, Drive Safe Driving School is fully authorized by the State to provide the Texas Department of Public Safety road test to individuals ages 16 - 24. Students from Parent taught, online, and other driving schools may road test (behind the wheel) with us for $60.

The course was easy. Class time was littered with breaks, it made it easy to focus on work knowing another break to play around would be right around the corner. It prepares you for the rode with, at least 8 hours on the rode to pass the class. Taken in 2 hour intervals. My favorite part might be that is conveniently located next to "Mike's PO Boys." Making lunch not a problem
