A B C Driving School

My experience with them happened almost a year ago. Even a year later though, I do not remember them fondly. At the time that I signed up for their service, I had 0 experience driving. I had never been behind the wheel before. On the first day that my instructor drove up, she immediately asked me to get behind the wheel and drive to the Capitol building.

I tried to explain to her that I had no experience driving, and she seemingly didn't believe me, just insisting that it would be fine. It wasn't until we shifted the car into drive and I was surprised that the car idled forward that she finally believed me. (Up until this point, I thought that you needed to have your foot on the gas to move forward).

She showed me the absolute basics, and I talked her into letting me practice in a parking lot first. This trend continued with all of the instructors. Each assuming that I had more experience than I did. I signed up for Drivers Ed because driving scares the heck out of me and I wanted to learn how to do it safely. I don't feel like they taught me this.

My instructors were all very focused on the test. One of them even telling me that "I just need to learn how to turn properly for the test, and then afterwards I can turn however I'd like." On top of that, I don't think that I could have failed the test if I wanted to. They clearly overlooked some of the mistakes that I made and still gave me a passing grade.

At the end of it all, they gave me paper with instructions for how to review them on google and asked me to submit a review right there in front of the instructor. I declined and offered to submit a review later. (I've procrastinated on it up until now) If you already know how to drive and just want an easy test, then maybe go with this company. If you actually want to LEARN how to drive, the go somewhere else!

My driving instructor, Ms. Ghazal, is awesome. She was professional but not intimidating to the point where I was nervous about driving. She made it a comfortable environment for me, which is really important to me being that I'm a first time driver. I'm super glad I got her as an instructor!

I am very thankful for taking a driving lessons with instructor Abram at ABC driving school. He was the best instructor. He is very patient and he use very clear and simple instruction. I highly recommended ABC driving school and instructor Abram specially for first timers

I was very pleased with ABC Driving School! The experience was quick, and very thorough in driving instructions and technique. I loved the convenience of being picked up for my sessions. My instructor Ghazal was very professional and put me at ease. All resulted in me passing the final driving test with ABC in my first attempt! I highly recommend ABC Driving School!

Best decision I made in my life! My driving instructor Kyle was so patient and took his time to make sure I was comfortable every step of the way. This decision I've made at 34 has changed my life and will open up so many door for me, I've always struggle with having anxiety and being so stressed out that this was super helpful for me. Honestly this is one of the best decisions I made in my life! The driving instructor was truly patient and took his time to make sure I was comfortable. He made driving fun and safe! My instructor name was Kyle so shout out to him for sure I 1000% recommend this school to anyone wanting to learn to drive!

This was the best experience of my life. Mr. Kyle Runge is one of the best driving instructors you can have. He is very nice, understanding, and very good at communication. I recommend signing up for driving school. It helps you learn more and become more safer on the roads.

Mr. Runge was very profession but still made my driving lesson fun. He was able to fix my mistakes and give me helpful advice. I also had Mr. Hernandez as my instructor and he really was a fun instructor. I really recommend choosing Mr. Runge and ABC driving school. After I pass my test, we drove around and admired the beautiful buildings downtown and the view up in the mountain.

I wanted to learn to drive by the end of the year and ABC Driving School was able to fit me in that upcoming Monday! My lessons were fun and anxiety-free. I had my lessons with Kyle who I highly recommend! They also have the best prices I have found for a driving school!

Absolutely terrible! The drivers text and drive and ride people going the speed limit. If the drivers can't drive, how do we expect them to teach our children.

Wanted to schedule a driving class cause I saw that it had amazing reviews but when I called to ask questions and schedule an appointment they stayed quite on the other line and when I repeatedly said "hello" I can hear them giggling in the back. I hung up and called back and they immediately sent me to voicemail. Terrible customer service to potential clients. Wouldn't recommend for the immaturity that the front desk girl had.

Wonderful experience for my nervous daughter. As her parent I knew that me attempting to teach her would be a complete train wreck. Must admit we were both a little nervous about her going off with a stranger. I even asked about background checks. Yes, they do them : We had Danny as her instructor and he was so kind and patient with her. She was immediately at ease and really enjoyed the experience.

He was able to give her the confidence she was lacking. Driving in rush hour, teaching her to parallel park, three point turns, staying in your own lane and all the other fun stuff. I hope Danny is around when my next child is learning to drive so he can help her out as well. Also the office was very accommodating to our schedule and very helpful.

So hard to contact this number. my daughter is to have her driving lesson today and they wont even give you a confirmation.

My two star rating still stands even after a response from the owner/instructor. I'm glad he enjoys teaching new students what the speedometer inside the car is for, the difference between the brakes and the gas and what to do when one approaches a stop sign. But not everyone needs this level of hand holding. They need to be more upfront and honest about what they can and can't offer so that people who are considering this school can decide if it's the best place for them. (I feel the need to clarify the fact that there was never any road test, not through this school, and they didn't help me pass anything.)

Very bad instructor. I was very excited to go for driving class after seeing my instruction permit. I booked for 6 hours behind the wheel driving. 3 hours was one day, and 3 hours for another day. I do not have driving experience. My instructor was clandia, during my first session, she started in good manner then become rude and no patience after an hour. she taught me only 2.30 hours on the day. she asked me to take classroom session, but when i checked with front desk, i came to know it is a study for written test, i already finished my test so i did nt make it and scheduled for 2nd session. she came to know i didnt take classroom and she started yelling me bad and demotivated. she asked me to read driving manual and she had her breakfast during my driving session, she taught me only 2 hours on that day. she had no patience at all, and even not ready to teach about driving.

The whole session was shouting about classroom session. I knew that i need more driving session, but i never go back to this school. i had enough by wasting my money and my time. I watched some videos in youtube, i pray i should get those good instructor in future. Please dont waste your time and money by choosing abc driving school.

Always keeps changing the appointment time a day before it is scheduled. Makes it really inconvenient for us to make other plans. Very unprofessional.

I'm giving this a one star only based on customer service. I called to ask a few questions regarding the defensive driving class they offer. The lady who answered the phone was absolutely rude. She didn't even let me finish my sentence, had an attitude, and sounded like the most miserable person on earth. She certainly did everything in her power to make me NOT want to spend my money on this place.

Do not use this company! Completely incompetent. The instructor was smoking and cursing and not even paying attention while he took my daughter to a shady part of town to take her test. When I called the company to complain they acted stupid refused to acknowledge any wrong doing and hung up on me! Very unprofessional! Oh and when I first called they thought I was someone else calling to complain about another incident. Wow! do not let your child get in the car with these people Apparently the owners don't care enough to read reviews thoroughly and if he didn't hang up on me he would know the issue.

As you can see by his response below. My daughter is now 19 and this was when she was 15, poor business dealings all around! His story doesn't even make sense " I was working and needed their car" but I was home with all the paperwork. Lies and not even relevant to the lewd behavior of the driver and himself. Move on to many other reputable companies when entrusting your child in a car

Today my little sister was to take her driving test after school, which is a very small time frame between then and when the DMV closes. Her instructor was half an hour late, causing her to miss the time frame to take the driving test. He then LEFT HER THERE while she was getting her picture taken and make the necessary payments. He didn't say a word, didn't tell her he was leaving or that he'd be back in a minute.

He waited until she was preoccupied and left to get "medicine for his throat". During that time my sister finished everything she had to do and turned to find herself stranded. He is her ride. She called our mother, who then in turn called the ABC driving school office and was greeted by unprofessional and impervious employees. She is paying for 6 hours of driving practice, and because of the instructor's complete incompetence, my sister was only given about 3 hours. For the amount they are paying, that is ridiculous. Manage your people, ABC Driving School. Completely unacceptable.

STAY AWAY OF THEM! The most terrible experience ever! They are polite only when they want their money. I bought 6 hours for my son. They called me after the first lesson and said they lost my check asking to issue them the other one. So I did, going through the trouble to cancel the first one in the bank because I had no idea where it was floating.

When I called them to schedule the second lesson I was told that it was too late because it was more than a year and it is expired. HUH? Expired? It is not a coupon, not a vaucher, it is hard cash paid. They said it was a company policy. It is nothing written on their website or papers regarding this kind of a policy. I drove there today to talk to the company owner Mr McLane.

He had "I don't know" attitude. He said they have no records of my son and don't know what was done, and people come all the time to scam them. He actually treated me as a scammer though I had all the receipts and instructor's check list for 3 hours! They gave me their lawer's phone number and that was it. It is not the way to treat the customers. BE AWARE! Spend your money somewhere else!

I am very disappointed with the school because they called me and told me that my daughter's on-road traing and test would have to be re-scheduled to a date a week later than we originally scheduled. If you have ever had a young driver getting their license - a week really matters to them. The school could not schedule my daughter with another instructor or make any arrangements to keep the appointments that she had with the school. I got a refund and scheduled with another school that has a back-up plan when an instructor can't meet his or her obligations.
