Driver Ed In A Box

My family highly recommends Driver Ed in a Box. We had a few challenges with my sons paperwork and they helped every step of the way with patience and care. Great communication!

We wanted to highly recommend the Driver Ed in a Box course and Road Test services. The company customer service was always timely. The training materials were targeted for safe driving - not just for passing an examination. The checklists were just what we needed to ensure that we had all our documentation prepared. Finally, we had the privilege of benefitting from the expert Road Test Examiners - a couple of years ago with Mr. Patrick Barrett and more recently with Mr. John Barrett. Our whole family is grateful for a company which was founded with the mission to produce safer collision-free drivers.

Easy to schedule and excellent communication. My daughter was nervous but John was very calm about the whole experience and made her feel comfortable. I'm very glad I was referred to them and I highly recommend everyone to opt for this service.

Was able to schedule my son's road test within the same week. Instructor was very detailed. The way the instructor presented the course. Kept my son calm and less nervous. Thank you

This place is very professional. I scheduled my road test on Saturday for the following Monday, with no problems. I was able to pass my test Monday morning and get my license the next day!

If you have a teenager that is turning 16 getting ready to do their drivers license test. We highly recommend driveredinabox our son just completed his in Frisco TX. Graham was the certified instructor that spent the time explaining the test in detail! Sorry we do not remember his wife's name they made sure all of our paperwork was filled out properly and completely prior to even meeting! Save your self time and stress avoid the DMV office for the driving portion of the test! Great job Graham & his wife!

Used them only for the road test (used Aceable for the actual driver's ed. good stuff from Aceable!). Used the Kingwood location because it was the only location that had the hours we needed on a Saturday. Communicated via text with someone and was able to send them a picture of the required documents in order to make sure everything was in order.

On test day, met them at the Starbucks and they quickly went over everything, inspected the vehicle, and conducted the test while I waited for them at Starbucks. Test took about 15 minutes and my son passed. Prior to the test, they will send you the course so you can make sure you're prepared. We were scouting the route and was able to practice parallel parking a few times at their location with their cones and their spacing just to make sure my son had it dialed in.

Once the test is over, they tell you everything you need to take to DPS to get the provisional license. A bit spendy at $135 but better than dealing with trying to take it at DPS. Time is money and all that.

I went to the Drivers in a Box in Katy T.X. and my experience was great! I took my adult driving test and passed with only one try! The DPS center was awful at doing the drivers road test (many hours of waiting) so I came here. I bought the pretest and the road test so he discussed the route and what to expect during the test BEFORE the actual test.

The pretest was exactly the same route as the road test. I suggest to buy both because otherwise you will only get one attempt at the test and it is very nerve racking with someone who you haven't met before in your passenger seat with a clipboard. They also email you with both routes BEFORE your test (usually at least 3-4 weeks beforehand) so you can practice. MAKE SURE TO PRACTICE BOTH ROUTES because he gives them at random. Successful drivers exam without the hassle of the DPS office!

Both of my daughters used Drivers Ed in A Box in Katy. I self taught both daughters through a online class. We used in a Box for the testing. Very easy to schedule, very clear on requirements, they tell you what you need to do before arrival. They let you practice there route for the test ahead of time. Very encouraging. once they start the test they can not help you. But, they are allowed to answer questions before the start of the test. They are great with nervous teenagers.

These guys totally understand drivers education. I have five kids, and have used these guys three times and love them!

My daughter signed up, and we were pretty excited about how detailed and thorough the course and materials are. The issues became when we needed to get documents from them. We couldn't get the required documents for her to get her permit without a delay, but finally got what she needed. Everything was great until now, it is time for her to take her driver's test.

We had to schedule her test out six weeks due to the DPS backlog. We have been trying to get a hold of Driver's Ed in a Box and have not had a returned phone call, email, or text and still no documents. Her test is in less than a week so they have had five weeks to get us the documents. Hopefully we don't have to pay and go somewhere else.

This is a great program! My son had scheduled a DPS road test months ago, but due to hurricane Harvey the DPS closed and weren't doing road tests until further notice. I found this program online and had the road test scheduled in just over a week. Instructors were very helpful and friendly and made him feel at ease. Passed on first try!

When I bought this program I was very happy. The man I worked with on the phone was very knowledgeable and helpful. However, we didn't start right away. Once we got started, it seems like the business may have changed hands. I can't get a hold of them to get my daughter's permit test results to get her driver permit. I'm worried that if we complete the course we won't get her license.

I wish I would have enrolled her in driver school. She would have been finished by now. Phone calls, messages, emails.no one returns any. I'm so frustrated. Buyer beware.

They have excellent service. They ensured that my daughter would be successful, no only during the online and DVD support course work but at the driving test as well. this is an awesome product and service and I am planning on signing up 2 more of my teen children ASAP.

Excellent experience from start to finish. The online materials are clear and concise. Emails are answered in a timely manner and the team is supportive. If you are looking for PTDE, this is the material to use and company to do business with. I highly recommend them and will be using them for my other children when it is their time to learn to drive.

We are about to train our 3rd and FINAL driver and have again chosen Driver Ed In a Box. No - it is not a simple plug and play because the point is to actually teach your student how to drive. Thankfully, it requires a greater number of classroom and driving hours than many other programs which means we feel like our child will be safer and a better equipped no-collision driver.

Great family owned school. The instructor knows a lot about the law and had a lot of tips that helped with passing the road test. They were very patients with my son and helped him stay calm while driving.

WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY! My daughter's friends took a driving course on line and paid $75. They also didn't have to wait a week to receive the certificate like this program. They just easily printed it out on their computer. my daughter's driving test is tomorrow. I told the ppl at Dr. Ed in a Box that we needed to receive it before the day of the test.

They told me it would be here but guess what?! It's not here and the next available appt for her drivers test is mid July. (2 months away) Oh, and one more thing. There are grammatical errors all through the learning books and some of the test answers in the answer key are wrong. It is hard to follow even for a parent. My child became bored and uninterested quickly. Very dissapointed! NOT recommending this to all I know.
