They should begin driving in an empty (school or church) parking lot learning the brake/gas/brake pivoting the foot technique, not lifting the foot off of the floorboard when changing between those 2 pedals.Drive up and down the empty rows as if looking for a spot to park in if you were in a full parking lot. This will give them a chance to practice turns in both directions, utilizing the turn signal looking left and right, then left again (if making a left turn) as you approach the end of the row.

I can’t recommend Jack’s Driving School enough! The whole process was incredibly easy and fast, making everything stress-free for both me and my daughter. There is a new owner now and he is very kind, thorough, and prepared. He was prepared to answer any questions and addressed any concerns we had. He also was reasonable and he runs the business very well. I am going to start the in car classes in September and will update the review then. 7/7/21 It is 4/5/22 I have been driving safely since October and passed my tests the first try.
The teachers know what they are doing and are super knowledgeable and helpful. They aren't afraid of constructive criticism which I feel is important in a driving school. It was worth the money and I feel confident in my driving skills.

If I could give a zero, I would. Please do NOT subject yourself or a family member to these terrible driving instructors. The 2 in car instructors my student had were best described as mean, cranky old men. They had zero patience and rather than be helpful, they made insulting, demeaning comments to her every driving experience. These are horrible people. My student is a good person and did not deserve this. Shame on them. Please stay away from these terrible human beings.

My daughter did online classroom training and then only needed the in car sessions scheduled. Jacks Driving School got her set up with convenient times immediately. She had 4 different in-car instructors, and each one offered great tips, advice, (especially with maneurerability) that helped her get a perfect score on her driving test.
